Many fond memories doing that flame uppercut "Bare Knuckle!", and the sound effects of head butting enemies has always stuck with me.
Drawing new gamers is still a plus for hardcore Nintendo fans, it supports the development of awesome upcoming titles, including Zelda: Breath of the Wild which is tantalising you with it's existence lol.
I'm trying to figure out whether to play it on Wii U or Switch.
Still a proud owner of Sega Saturn, Guardian Heroes being my favourite childhood game along with Virtua Fighter 2.
I didn't receive it for Christmas, if i did...I would of freaked out in the best way possible!
I don't see the sense in making an established character's gender selectable, that's like offering a male version of Lara Croft or Bayonetta. Could you imagine a female version of Mario?!
With games like Mass Effect, gender selection is not only selectable but brilliantly utilised. You're are building a character that's integrated into the story, a male link is already integrated and has been for decades. There's no female version of Link, Link is ma...
You're not hating, I do believe you may need to see Nintendo's approach from a new angle. In terms of gimmicks the original Wii shipped many units on the premise of introducing a new style gameplay, that stood against powerhouse systems and overall sold remarkably well.
Wii U did fall short in terms of marketing, the third party support did significantly drop and lessons would need to be adopted for it's successor. In my own humble opinion, the Wii U is my favou...
Buy both? Oh my god really? Can you send over some seeds from your money tree to some of our addresses so we can plant one too?
In return I'll share a suggestion that writing a article advising which choice would suite a certain profile of gamer may of been a more logical piece to write.
Coughing up that much money to press right trigger to fire across two of the same genre, and get tea bagged after getting shot through the eye doesn't feel doubly...
Lol loving the sudden hype for Skyrim. By a long shot? ... Nah. It's damn good but nothing to post a trending article topic about.
Game Boy Colour version works good for me ...
As a father of an 18 month old little boy I am just waiting on the day he gets immersed into gaming, I do believe gaming will always remain a key hobby in my life.
With my son I am excited to play alongside him, to share memories and make him feel that i am not just a dad that just lays down the law and tells him no all the time… but that I am more than his father, I am his best friend as well.
Wonder how this contradictory piece got approved….
Nice solid article and yes this raises questions on the sustainability on their digital software. The growth in sales is undeniable to what's seen for public knowledge.
Hardware sales could be better, yet the other side of the coin looks a more positive picture. I read Mario Kart 8s encatchment was something ridiculous like 50% of the install base.
No age to die, cant imagine what his family and friends are going through.
Bit of a drama queen subjet title. Dead Island pissed me off to high heaven with the save issue they had, didnt discredit what they were trying to accomplish.
I am looking forward to buying this in a month or so time.
Then what classifies as next gen, i am confused here. Because the jump between PS3 to PS4 was so immensely mind blowing : /
Wii U is competent in hardware, due it not being as powerful as the competition does not derive the fact it shares the same generation as it's rivals.
Zelda would not surprise me at all.
We need game concepts to truly compliment the motion control scheme rather than just throwing the feature in, I agree more can be done.
Eventually I see either motion control being fazed out or part of a bigger picture in the future.
mystery of the single speech bubble revealed in your only comment lol. Can you pm me explaining whats taking PS4 and XB1 so long?
More so for my PS4 which is selling like hot cakes yet is taking it's time to taste as good as people said it would.....
As did I, hell I still play it now. It's got its flaws and that can be said about most games....even most Ubisoft games lol. Sorry cheap Ubisoft shot, my bad.
A sequel would be awesome, lacks of online multiplayer felt like a missed opportunity in Zombi U as well.
Wish I could, reality has unfortunately caught up with me moving house in February :( lol. Pretty much in a financial minefield, the joys of life eh?
Only have Mario for the moment but definitely keen to build a little collection. I know it's gimmicky yet they're attractive display pieces besides being game compatible.
I am really hoping Nintendo wont lose steam with their Amibo plans, these great sales should reflect through more expansive developmen...
An interesting article, Nintendo do market themselves in that fashion, however there's no denying that the focus of their innovation does pull through.
Casual gamers are becoming hardcore, please note that trends such as this do come full circle. A few years ago I'd class myself as a hardcore gamer, I had to have the "hit game" on the "hit console", or aim to get the best graphics possible on the pc. Nowadays Nintendo's approach, simplicity a...
