I was watching tv earlier and when the ad came on i literally couldn't believe my eyes..i thought to myself
'whats this? Sony actually doing a good job marketing an exclusive!!'
Hopefully this game will get the sales it deserves, cause its already getting the praise it deserves from critics...
ANUBUS - Actually he DID leave out facts that would take away from his argument. Those facts are Modern Warfare 2 and Batman Arkham Asylum.
He breezes over games that souldnt be breezed and focuses on PS3 exclusives. INFAMOUS will not win GOTY and you know it.

Well im sure the campaign is not 10-15 hours, not even any of the previous halo games were that big.
And even if it was, everything else is recycled. So would you say a game with just a 10 hour campaign and NOTHING else is worth full price?
My point is that its NOT HALO 4 and many people will think it is, only leading to dissapointment.

Well seeing as how hes up sonys arse the whole article i think he meant UNDERstatement not OVERstatement.
Also, although i do agree that PS3s line up fall dwarfs Microsofts, i dont like that this whole article stinks of subtle fanboyism.

I hate the way some articles act as if the ps3 always has something to prove. Example:
'PS3 poised to crawl out of 3rd with massive relaunch'
vs
'PS3 sells 500,000 in the first week of relaunch'
The difference except the bias? The former will get way more hits
There really needs to be no debate about the validity of these numbers... We will see when the NPD comes out, and if they match then VG can be called a reliable source, end of story.
They are just estimates, so i dont see any grey area they either real or fake and we will find out lol
Give us existing owners a Trophy Patch

Release a 'sub-whatever- version with built in trophies, and some cool extras - maybe some spoof cutscenes, history of metal gear, you know just some lovely fan service!
I dont think the issue here is the quality of the title, at the end of the day its Halo 3 and however you felt about it then, this isnt gonna change your mind.
The issue is that Microsoft is using this full price to trick non informed casual gamers into buying this thinking theyre getting a whole new game. Obviously everyone here is a gamer and knows what the deal is but beleive it or not there's alot of people who buy games based on box art!

This is not the fault of Rockstar, they were offered a bucket of money and it would be stupid of them not to accept.
It was like Microsoft was saying
'Were bigger than you, and were gonna show it by throwing out a cool 50 milllion on something that probably wont make that much difference, but it doesnt matter cause we have a bottomless pit of money.'
They might have the right, but doing it lost them a lot of dignity and respect. It was a petty action and came across desperate in my eyes.
And at the end of the day, its debatable how much effect it had, seeing that the attach rate on both consoles was pretty much the same.
And im not saying its just pathetic when microsoft do it, if sony come out and say we paid 50 million for FF13 DLC then they lose just as much dignity.

I suppose there is some truth in what you say, but i'd guess 50% of the scores are as you say 'apples to apples', and the fact that the proportion of higher rated on ps3 has been rising year on year since forever does, at least show that at this point, the scores are roughly on par.
Also, i do feel that even if there were slight differences that show up when 'apples to appleing', the fact that reviewers choose to ignore them only shows just how insignificant and petty the differ...

But good 'news' either way, Infamous was quite good, not triple A in my opinion but definitely a worthy purchase.

54% multiplats score higher on ps3!!! according to metacritic in 2009 and the number has been shifting in the ps3s favour since 2006.
So yeah, try to spin that.
