It's funny, because when Polygon rates Playstation games low, people scream bias. When they rate Xbox games low, people say "oh wow, the game must be even worse than this, and this score is too generous because they are biased towards Microsoft!!!" Can't win with these idiot PS fanboys.

GT6 in 1080P? Sorry, but 1440x1080 and anywhere from 30 to 60fps with last-gen car models isn't the same as 1920x1080 at a locked 60fps.

Um, yes, if the cameras are identical, then megapixels do matter. However, the XB1 is VERY different from the PS4, so that argument still does not apply. Quality > Quantity still applies. Less gorgeous pixels > more average pixels.

Yeah, sure...a next gen racing game is TOTALLY not a demanding title. It's SO easy to draw multiple photorealistic cars, fill the surrounding world, calculate physics several times a second, throw in some particle effects, and display it all at 1920x1080. Easy as pie.

Take it from someone that is a photographer. Your Megapixel argument is a very poor one. A DSLR cam at 10 megapixels blows away a point and shoot cam at 30 megapixels. Extra resolution is useless when the pixels themselves aren't of high quality. Quality and size of the sensor is WAY higher on the list than the amount of pixels. And blowing up a 6 megapixel dslr image to poster size and then blowing up a 20 megapixel phone pic to same size...the phone will look...

Ryse is praised by everyone that plays or watches it, and is called a true next gen title visually, and yet it's not 1080P. So why are you people making 1080 to be some kind of a magical standard, when other games look just as good without even having it? Art style deserves WAY more recognition than the frikkin resolution...

Ryse is gorgeous, and runs at 900P. They used the resources to make it look better rather than to push a few more superficial pixels. So you go ahead and mandate required 1080P, I'll stick to studios that deliver beautiful graphics regardless of pixel amounts.
