How do you even review this game? I mean, I wouldn't even call it a game. It's a relaxing experience, but that's about it...
Even not being a big sony fan, I absolutely love TLOU. Currently I am about 47% through with the game and adoring every second of it. However, the way people hyped up the graphics, I expected to be absolutely blown away, but that hasn't quite happened yet. It's often very pretty, but I feel that titles like Metro 2 on the xbox and ps3 rival it in many ways. There are also numerous visual and gameplay inconsistencies.
For example, Ellie will often pass right through Jo...
The Last of Us is fantastic. I'm not a huge sony fan, but that game is undeniably superb. I'm about 3 hours in so far. However, the weird thing is that I'm not super impressed with the graphics. They are often pretty, and sometimes very pretty, but the way people talked them up, I expected Crysis 3 on high end PC...There are visible compromises that were made to make sure it ran ok, and to be honest, Metro 2 on the Xbox 360 impressed no less. TLOU's story, though....oh man! Ex...
Forza 1 had night racing.
Are you saying GT5/GT6 cars look just as good in actual gameplay as they do in menus and replays? Lol!
Who is "we"? Do you own an xbox one? Or are you just a troll?
Superb comparison. And holy hell, those F2 cars were shiny! And also, the difference between Forza 2 and Forza 4 on the same hardware are like a whole generational leap. I only hope the same holds true for Forza 5 and Forza 6/7.
graphical evolution then?
I agree. Bikes and cars racing together in the rain...
I thought that was for actual driving simulators, like Iracing, not console games? lol
It hasn't been downgraded? GT6 carries over most of GT5's cars (even the PS2 ones) and tracks and only adds a few new things. That's far easier than making 200 brand new high rez cars and 14 tracks, like in Forza 5...
GT6 still sounds like crap, still has poor AI, and still has laughable damage modeling.
"I'll take native 1080p over a sharper shadow and brighter reflections all day everyday."
First of all, 1440x1080 is NOT native 1080P. Second, more quality per pixel makes for a better looking game than pure 1080P. Maxed out 900P > stripped down 1080.
Gran Turismo does NOT run at 1920x1080 and it only runs af 60fps SOMETIMES. There's a difference between that and Forza 5.
No, Forza doesn't have bad sound or bad AI...damage is better as well.
That's how it works, dummy. GT3 came out with much less content than GT4 due to being on a new console, and Forza 2 only had 12 tracks, much less than Forza 1, due to being the first forza game on the xbox 360. Forzas 3 and 4 amped the content significantly. GT5, the first GT game on the new hardware, had 80% of its content ported over from PS2.
It takes a LOT of time to make things from scratch. Stop crying about something that you do NOT understand.
Premium GT5/6 cars WILL be ported over to GT7 on the PS4. And there will also be some brand new cars made as well, just like usual. Not a bad thing, really. PD simply doesn't have enough resources to make 1200 cars from scratch.
Of course FM6 will have much more content. That's how it works. The first game in a new console cycle always has less content, because it all needs to be redone from scratch. FM6 will have all the stuff from FM5 + new. GT series works the same way. GT3 didn't have that much content, compared to GT4.

Sorry, but low quality Forza 5 screen grabs of a compressed youtube video does NOT support your point...especially that grey Zonda. It looks worse than the original Forza in that pic and it sure as hell doesn't look like that on a 1080P tv...
You don't say?
MW2 has the best maps for me, but I don't mind the new ones...
