Well, technically they don't need the console business, it earns them nothing compared to their other services.
They are already releasing games on PC so your point is kinda stupid.
Going to get alot of flak for this, but next gen games won't show much of a difference within the first 2 years of its life.
Pretty much most games within the first 2 years can run easily on the current gen systems (Ps4, XB1), only difference is the resolution, graphics (reflections, textures, aa etc) are pushed more, game is a lot smoother due to having better specs, and load faster due to having an ssd, that's pretty much it.
Those who think thi...
It was released in NZ a day before the rest of the world?
Personally the story isn't that great, it kinda dragged on as well. But overall the game is still good.
same can be said for any game sequel. so your point is irrelevant.
They could've just had like a tweet or something. But i suppose its a good way to get everyone know about it since every gamer pretty much was watching (if they had time/knew about the event).
Or, those studios already agreed to show it at Sony/Playstation event?
This article didn't have to be written to be honest, everyone already knows that every game has or will have cut content (which is already stated in the article).
lol
Both systems will have interesting/exciting titles :)
Beat as in, finish the story/campaign (main story if for rpgs) or 100% a game? (with all achievements/trophies etc).
Because I do both of the above, just depends what game really.
That means we are all smart :)
Reasons why Sony delayed it:
1. So they can have more widespread attention when they do reveal it later on (think of it as a marketing approach), as some people may just miss the news etc. (eg, how some people didn't realise spaceX launched astronauts into space due to the riots/protests overshadowing it.) - they just want 100% attention from the audience with no/little distractions.
2. They could have just had the event but addressed the situation, but this ma...
Most likely not.
Just your PC mate. :P
Ultimately it is up to the devs but personally i would like 60 fps over 4k reso etc.
Most devs will probs go to the more reso approach tho.
Well technically it was Platinum's fault for what happened to Scalebound, they weren't meeting deadlines and stuff, so Microsoft pulled the funding/shelved the project.
Platinum was working on other projects alongside Scalebound so there's that also.
Like people have said already, having it on the Xbox wouldn't have changed anything.
The game was pretty much a faster paced overwatch.
Also the fact that the game was suppose to be a free to play game, but then they changed it.
It is easier to face (& motion) capture an actor/actress (well, in my opinion) compared to making a new character from scratch, they pretty much stopped making unique character faces for characters for games now (i'm just going to say about 80% or more, could be wrong lol).
Even before face/motion capture technology, artists usually/sometimes tried to put some of the actors likeness for the characters anyway.
Funny how 1 PlayStation game that goes to steam, people just make an article about it, being a top seller. There's been numerous other games that have been only on console and were released on steam and no one makes articles about them being on the Top Seller list lol.
