It doesn't unifie gamers, you still have to pick cross play match up, what happens if no one wants to cross play match up, are developers gonna force that on me??? I don't want to play PC players on shooters, secondly too many cheaters on PC.

The SNES had the best variety of types of games, challenging games as well the biggest vast amount of RPG's. Arguably the lineup of games for SNES are just as good as PS1 and 2. Sadly after the ps2 GC XBOX era everything become all about shooters.......

let me remind you Skull the OG xbox is one of the shortest lifecycle of any consoles made, it was even shorter then the WII U. So to say that the 360 sold way more then the OG xbox is not much of an accomplishment as that would not be that hard to do if you make a proper console.
Honestly for all of those who gave me down votes, wth is your problem I am asking a question! I don't game on XBOX, so I ask how many games attain that. Jesus people get butthurt easily. For some, it is more the studios that are acquired in terms of quality vs just acquiring studios for the sake of saying we got some. Out of all that MS got, it is not that exciting but good for MS for still doing something about it.

If MS wants cross play for 14 it will happen. This is unrelated to MS did it first, it is related to MS didn't want to change it's stance at the start of this gen.

ok lets looks at pro's and con's
Pro: the only one I can think of, is playing with anyone. oh and given the choice to not play cross play because I don't want too.
Con: 1 potential player base lost
2 always cross play on making me having to play against pc players all the time
3 not being able to do proper chat parties due to the fact it will be on multiple platforms
4 bad security in terms o...
