only microsoft and sony. at this point microsoft has such a huge lead over ps3 that it only makes sense.I have a 360 right now and will get a ps3 when games are on ps3 that I cant get on 360. all you fanboys have way to much vested on your piece of hardware. really get a life and be happy that this creates competition, which = better games on both systems.
360 is a really fun console, with great games. if the new xbox comes out by end of 2010, it will definantly be backwards combatable. and the technology is so far beyond what ps3 and 360 have right now that it would probaly be a good idea. but I personally dont see it that soon. and if it does then I had 5 great years on my 360, which I think is worth my $400 investment.
then gears them cod4. and last but not least MYSELF
ps3 and 360 will not have a 10 year life. they are already dinosaurs
some sony fanboys say that like 3 to 4 million have been sold in that area. i guess they were way off.
if there was no hd dvd vs blu ray, the blu ray would still be about $700, and vise versa. so thank you hd dvd and blu ray for competing and bringing the price lower.
is an opinion not a fact. I personaly wasnt that impressed with uncharted's graphics, there good but buy no means superior to every game.
if 360 had a required hdd install you would be talking trash about it
but it is dead. I wish it wasnt because I actually like it more than blu, but it is dead.
is because stupid people want to feel superior, and to justify their crazy allegiance for a piece of hardware
make very little difference if it is hd or not.I have a 1080p projector with a 100 inch screen and hd content makes a difference. In my experience sd dvd looks great on an upconverting dvd player up to around 42 inches. so if you tv is less than 42 inches hd movie content isn't a drastic upgrade. Gaming still makes an incremental noticable difference at those sizes
gears was good , so was uncharted. dualshock is better , you must have very small hands , i just cant imagine what else is very small on you
spu is cool but 7 spu's is alot to dev for . even if is more powerful it really isn't because it takes to many man hours to make it run at a pace that is on par with other cpu's. yes its very powerful but it has bottlenecks in the gpu and the memory. so whats the advantage , you tell me. bottlenecks are a b?tch, aren't they
blu ray has won . but i dont think that high def discs are the way of the future. blu ray will reign supreme for 2 years but the majority of hd content will be digital downloads by the middle to end of 2009
its called a bank account
me too
ps3 will paint my house by next year I KNOW IT
I would want to develope for a system thatis easier to develope for . so I could spend time making the game better, not spending time just to make the game run on it . dont get me wrong ps3 is powerful but all the extra man hours to get it just running kinda stinks. nobody wants to work more for less money (do you).ps3 will have its day once it becomes easier to develope for. i love my ps3 and 360 but it is true that 360 is easier to dev for.
the ps3 selling more because it was a ps2 game
i have 3 friends with ps3 and they are only blu ray players
