I don't care just give us a release date already!!
The problem is darth always forget to include in his sales analysis a ''minor'' detail which is that the series S is almost all the time available everywhere so in reality the xbox brand is not doing anything out of the extraordinary in terms of sales since they don't have the same problem the PS5 have.
If the PS5 was available as the series S is then we would have a somehow different kinda ''articles'' right now.

I still think the gap will be big but time will tell for sure.
Whether some like it or not, whether it makes a difference for you or not the fact is PS5 will pull ahead once they get the chip issue under control. One console is pretty much available every week at least here in the U.S. where more than half of its fanbase are while the PS5 is almost impossible to find. No need a crystal ball or be a wizard to know this.

Exactly! I remember last gen when they had the xbone 6 million ahead of what the true numbers were. AMD released an official article where they had sold 30 million chips to MS but VDChartz had the xbone at 36 million sold.
This was in November 2018, ''The joy of gaming'' by AMD was the name of the official article.

The king of home consoles doing its thing and to think there's chip shortage. Once things get sort it out the PS5 will be unstoppable. Now concentrate in your great games and keep that stream flowing.

I was about to say the same thing, I mean it's the only controller on the market with these features so it's not gonna be a $20 item for sure.
The Switch is on another level.
Released March 2017 and in early 2020 (3 yrs on the market) surpassed the xbox one which was released in November 2013.
And now is about to pass the PS4 which has sold 117mil. Incredible.
Because I spread facts that some here dont appreciate;)
Once the chip issue gets resolved those numbers will go up like crazy especially the PS5. Demand is off the charts.
