I keep hearing about this so called ''Sony needs competition'' xbox has never been competition for PS, not on ps2, not on ps4, not on ps5 but they bring the 360 only because released a yr earlier and had sold 10mil units before PS3 hit the shelves. Still failed to sell more than PS3. When xbox most ''successful'' console ever couldn't beat the less ''successful'' console from Sony, you know it's game over.

I've been hearing the same thing since I first got my ps1 back in 1996...
Yet every gen PS continues to sell 100mil+ units, no abandon ship in sight so I guess the ''not so serious'' gamers like me and a bunch of others will continue gaming on PS...

I'm super glad Sony's going back to what they used to do for 30 yrs, porting games to pee zee was a huge mistake just for a couple of millions extra at most and it only tarnished the brand/platform. Bunch of ungrateful ''pee zee elitists'' anyway, always demanding and whining as if Sony is owes them a port. Besides, Xbox brand doesn’t have the global clout to come out on top in console sales.
Xbox 360 in particular is the only console in history that sold over 45 million in North America (thanks by releasing a yr ahead of the competition and having 10 mil units sold by the time PS3 released) yet still failed to cross 100 million worldwide, which speaks volumes of how limited Xbox’s popularity is around the planet.
