The four difficulty modes are confirmed to be
-Casual Automatic mode: For those who aren't sure whether pressing the buttons is actually doing anything
-Regular Regular mode: it's pretty regular
-Hard regular mode: it's hard in a way you'd expect
-Nightmare Pain Tragedy mode: Everything kills you in one hit, including using the pause menu.
