Proof? Blizzard said that it's not a server side issue. They also said that no one has been hacked with an authenticator attached.
"We've been taking the situation extremely seriously from the start, and have done everything possible to verify how and in what circumstances these compromises are occurring. Despite the claims and theories being made, we have yet to find any situations in which a person's account was not compromised through traditional means of ...
People don't get hacked from other people joining online game sessions. They get "hacked" from phishing e-mails and/or key loggers. Once someone has your username or password, they can easily remove all your items and gold in a little amount of time.
The best way to combat this is to update your anti-virus software and get an authenticator.
Calling people idiots is a great way to get your point across...
Great keyboard, worth every penny. My only complaint is that the keyboard lights tend to burn out. I've had my right shift key stop working after 2 months of use.
Loved this game! They need to make a new one.
I didn't have any issues when any of the WoW expansions came out at midnight. I doubt there will be any issue with the midnight release of D3.
Made the mistake of buying this on 360. Thankfully it's only 7 bucks on sale this week for PC.
4 Million for a game that isn't a shooter is very impressive.
That engine is starting to look really outdated. Surely Treyarch could do better.
Game looks great.
It's the calm before the storm... Diablo 3, Max Payne 3 and Ghost Recon all coming in the next few weeks.
Price is the sole reason I don't have one. It's like 250 + 50 bucks for a memory card (If you want to download stuff) + the actual games. I will definitely be picking one up, but not at that price point.
Cave Johnson AKA J.K. Simmons is the spokesperson for Farmers Insurance. Hence all the talk of Farming at the beginning. Clever Valve.
Only a few months in and I've already gotten my moneys worth. Can't wait for the new DLC this summer!
I bought T2 and got T1 for free. Never played it before, but it's an awesome Diablo type game. T2 should will be awesome in the summer when I'm bored of Diablo 3.
The game is awesome up until the ending. Totally worth a play-through. I'm going to replay it when they release the new ending stuff this summer.
No argument here! Haha.
Sadly it isn't going anywhere. Despite all the outrage about this, most users who buy this DLC don't really know what they are buying is already pre-packaged on the disc. And if the companies who sell these games make money off it, they surely aren't going to stop.
There is zero loyalty in the gaming industry anymore. It's more about making money and less about keeping the consumer happy.
Diablo3 and Max Payne are going to be awesome. I was going to get Ghost Recon too, but it looks like a 3rd person CoD game and less of an original Ghost Recon game.
I have zero issue shelling out for this service if the Expansions are as good as the previous.
