Good review. Love 4PP!
I can't take this list seriously. Half-Life 2? Really?
Standard hit grabbing garbage.
CoD has had the same graphics engine the past 5 years, not sure why everyone is surprised. It's not like they're going to redo the engine this late in a console lifecycle.
Anyways, this video looks good. But their promo stuff has never really looked bad. Gameplay looks the same, but I guess we won't be able to see all the little tweaks until we play the real thing.
Looks fun, I want to see some multiplayer.
I'd LOVE to find a copy of KotOR 2 for PC.
Online pass vs. paying 15 bucks for each Map Pack. Hmm.
I've been searching for Metal Warriors FOREVER. Also, Winback= Underated game.
I don't mind infographics like these. They don't necessarily say one is better than the other, they put things into perspective.
I don't think it will eclipse WoW, nothing will. But they'll take a decent sized chunk out of Blizzard's market share.
I think it is.
Consider this, for 40 bucks I can buy one 3DS game. But for 40 bucks I can buy 40 99cent iPhone games. Which one are you going to have more fun with? For me it would be the later.
Sure, the 3DS is getting cheaper, but the games aren't. And that might not be a downfall now for Nintendo's first-party titles. But you're going to have a hell of a time convincing people to pony up $40 for a third-party title that probably isn't going...
It was one of their better CoD games, but I didn't find it too great. But with the way Black Ops sold, Black Ops 2 certainly isn't out of the question.
I was to. I figured people would be more pissed about the money for in-game items thing.
Didn't MS lift the max size of games a few years ago? Must be a huge game.
The original on XBLA was fuckin awesome. I guess I'll just have to get it for PC this time around.
I've bought both games and the Beta for the third was actually enjoyable. Can't wait.
It would be more appealing if it was $10 or if they offered more for $25. Getting to play a game 3 days early just isn't enough.
Also, this was a great line: 'It seems as though the last 16 months of Project $10 has paved the way for Project What Else You Got in Your Wallet?'
You say 'So this leads to the answer, they are attempting to curb pre-owned game sales, but in turn they are actually hurting the consumers who support them.'
They are curbing pre-owned game sales. That's true. But they aren't hurting the consumers who support them. Because the consumers who support them buy NEW games.
Bought. Love the extra 10% off you get if you had the original game.
Welcome to the real world where companies change their minds when their is a profit to be made. This is nothing new.
Plus with all the Cash for Items schemes that went on in D2, Blizzard is securing what was a very sketchy business.
I don't see why we have to choose between the two. I was fortunate enough to get into the BF3 Alpha and it was awesome. But I have no doubt in my mind that IW and Sledgehammer are going to pull out all the stops to make their game awesome too.
Ah, another quality article from MSXBOX-World.
Someone needs to write 'Top 5 Reasons to ignore MSXBOX-World.com' It would probably be a better read than this steaming pile of crap.
