HammadTheOne MS gives away free games every year and you don't need Xbox Live to DL them. As for PSN+ stop paying for that subscription and see if you get to keep those games :)

Every FTP game I ever played required me to register with an email. Then they want to charge for everything under the sun. How is this different?
