i am sitting before that LE40C750 HDTV right now :) and its a really good tv, the only negative point i found is that it reflects too much, so i have to be in total dark to truly enjoy a HD movie or game.
loading in GOW and Uncharted games is made during cutscene videos (they just used ingame lower polygon count objects to make you think it is ingame), and yes the game is also streaming everything during gameplay, but the most is loaded during those cutscenes.
looks like there are some Gears of War fanatics lurking here (disagrees) :D i find the gameplay pretty cool, more action and more dynamic than Gears.
good review, exactly how i felt when playing the game, first Crackdown FTW!
well Microsoft did start gaming with Solitaire, MineSweeper, Hearts etc. soooo... back to the roots :D
and yet still "ball in a cup" will be more fun :D

and thats why i hate square enix, cause they make only action-rpgs nowadays :( they probably think, that america is all about action/shooting so they want to adapt, which was a very bad decision as their sales are getting lower every year... also why oh why they changed the new Front Mission into that action crap is beyond me... (hopefully again the sales will teach them a lesson) turn-base rpgs FTW!
hopefully, i have my Monsters vs. Aliens Bluray 3D movie ready and yet can't enjoy it in 3D, cause i have to wait for the update...
"Can't wait to try out that flying suit." i said that to myself too when i started playing the game and when i got it i was like "this is it?!?!", so don't get your hopes up too much... anyway the first game was way better IMHO.
then we would have one less episode of Angry video game nerd :)
i bought the Samsung LE40C750 3D HDTV a week ago and have to say Super Stardust HD i the best looking 3D game, Motorstorm looks crappy (they probably had to downgrade the graphics a lot) and Wipeout is so so.
couldn't agree more with you, i have now played the full game for about 5 hours and the first one was definitely better. It's just way too repetitive...
your right, in these sad gaming times it's just about who pays more = winner...
i found that in Blur the AI opponents aren't cheating so much like in Split Second, so to me less frustration = better game, and that is Blur, also the graphics and effects are better in Blur IMHO.
nope, Blur is better.
i hope not, lots of bugs in it and boring parts (i doubt anyone enjoyed the forced/unskippable horse riding, where you just follow the NPCs before a mission), but it's probably GTA4 all over again so...
after finishing the game yesterday i see the review scores identical with the GTA4 ones, so definitely not justified IMHO. The game has many bugs (i was like wtf, when i was standing near a river, i called my horse and he just fell in the river and died :D ), the character movement controls are bad (just don't go near water, you'l see why... :) ) and many boring passages (like the forced horse riding with the NPCs which can't be skipped), also why couldn't they make the animal...
you like fish sticks? :)
Old lady: "Hey Marcus, if you cut down all the weed in my yard i will reward you a with a new extended item pouch!"
Marcus: "Hell yeah, RPG elements FTW!!!"
:)
one word - Milo :D
