You can have call of duty controls by selecting the default 2 option and not standard 2. One of the best things about the game is you can run longer and the graphics are awesome. I suggest you tweak the motion sensitivity for the analogue sticks for precise aiming.

Thats a load of crap, if that is the case what's your excuse for FPS games, RTS PC games and platform hack n' slash. They keep the same formula and still sell many copies.
The controls are just fine, I loved the 4th installment and equally loved the demo. Even though I was comfortable with the RE4 controls and I chosen the Set-up D type, this allows you to use both analogue sticks.
Take your time with the demo and enjoy the game, it will get better and then you will see why it was designed as it is.

While some may agree with you, you will find most people move on with the times. Call of duty 3 online was ok but Call of Duty 4 obliterated it. Ever since COD4 i have not played the previous one. To me as long as I can get online and have no lag then im happy. I get this with the PSN so why would I pay for something else?

JRPG's dont sell that well in the west and everyone knows this is a fact. With Killzone 2 and Resi 5 just round the corner it is not going to matter. Square have produced decidedly average titles of late and I cannot see that changing. They need to move with the times and create new games that are multiplatform as well as the 360 is not going to make them much money in Japan.
