Getting a 360 as a neutral gamer isn't the worlds worst decision as it has some great games but that does not mean Microsoft dont know how to rinse things out of us
because "they spend more time polishing gameplay" than any other studio.
They could have spent more time upgrading the outdated graphics. If you see he gameplay in videos it does like quite generic but I could be wrong.
In terms of gameplay MW2 and Battlefield BC2 will put this overtated game in it's place, you can hate me for this but gameplay in L4D is better than this

I only bought map pack for CODWAW for nazi zombies, the gameplay element in MW2 is going to remain the same!
Anyways it will be Activision's loss as how many people will want to download outdated maps. PS3 owners will have plenty of other games to keep them occupied i.e God of war, MAG GT5 etc etc etc

It's true not all hyped AAA games are woth all the retail price i could name a few but it would end up getting into a fanboy flaimbait war.
Games are about personal choice and I was just as excited about Dark Sector as I was about Metal Gear. I have played, completed and enjoyed over 80 games on both the PS3 and 360 ( and a few PC games ).
When I look at my friends lists on both console I mainly see call of duty or Halo 3. People do not know what they are missing...
The price drop and new model is good news for those who have been waiting to purchase one. For me the price change does not bother me as I already have a ps3 but it will help me in the sense that 3rd developers will think twice before making an exclusive game ie gears or mass effect for example.
Lets not get carried away here, I own a ps3 and 360 but the price of 169.99 i paid for the xbox i had no chaice but to get halo 3 and PGR4 (Gears package was sold out). If that gets counted as a sale then i would be disappointed, I personally think the game is not that good and quickly exchanged this for Gears and Bioshock
I have both versions due to the fiends I have. My PS3 is downstairs ( mainly due to the blu-ray player) and my 360 is upstairs. The are still issues with the 360 version well at least they are a bit better now
This game is worth every penny and a total joy. I believe the server issues will resolve itself sooner or later. I already have this on XBL, and will purchase this from the PSN as well ( mainly due to the friends and family list I have for each console ). A truly enjoyable multiplayer
Ok so lets get this right.... Sony decision to create brilliant new IP's like Infamous, Uncharted, Resistance, is ultimately a bad decision? This is a joke right, when has it ever been a bad thing to produce fantastic games?
I would also like to add that when you compare the gears of war game as an IP that sold millions, look at the competition it had? it had very little, so it's not suprising it sold loads.

In all fairness JRPG's are not all that hot in the western world. They will never be as popular as shooters or action games. Im not saying they are bad but it does not make business sense to sell the game in a country where JRPG's have the biggest fan base on a system that has only sold a minimal amount. The biggest fan base's happen to be the WII and PS3 in Japan ( Excluding DSi and PSP ). They are only hurting the fans and eventually their wallet

This game is not really bad and those that hate it are in the minorities. My reason for saying this is because this game will sell millions, has been loved my millions and will continue to be loved by millions.

I have a PC and I used to have a laptop as well. I was curious about the apple macs as we all know they are very slick machines but apparently they are very very different from PC's. Valve games are not that bad i mean L4D is good but gets gets boring quickly. The source engine is also looking quite dated and their are better games coming out.
Valve need to adapt and change their strategies which includes the PS3, but I cannot see that happen really!
