Fine with me, I have no problems with it. If developers want you online they have the right to make games online only. Take MMO for example. I'm looking forward to the online only games that take true advantage of what that environment can add to the game. Quit crying about it, if you don't have internet access there are going to be games that aren't for you. Deal with it and play something else.
There are videos showcasing dx12 features and the results are quite impressive, both the PC and Xbox are going to see some pretty big gains, can't wait for it.
QUIT BEING SUCH A SECRETIVE INDUSTRY, YOU AREN'T THE NSA, JUST GIVE US MONTHLY UPDATES ON GAMES, AND WHEN YOU HAVE ONE IN PRODUCTION, ANNOUNCE IT.
LEAKERS = GONE
Both games look equally last-gen.
Lets hope it doesn't feature gamestop exclusive content, that is the worst kind. I refuse to shop there.
How the F is this the top news story? An arctic camo controller? Dumb...
Why didn't they make it for the X1, get the colors flowing early rather than 5 years into the console life cycle.
Gonna be GotY when it releases, that's what we know so far. We also know the Playstation fanboys will be here any second to get in their disagrees and fellate Naughty Dog.
It's going to be hard to market I bet. PC gamers are a different breed and will have no problem picking up an Oculus, but I have a feeling Morpheus is going to probably cost the same amount of money as the PS4 itself. Maybe not but I don't think there is any doubt that this will be a pricey accessory, probably more expensive then buying a new 42" 1080p 120Hz HDTV.
All the pictures seem to feature blue lighting on it also, kind of like the DS4 lightbar... does th...
My r9 290x would crush it but I'm not gonna disgrace the card with this game. This game never looked like any graphics powerhouse to me at any point in time.
Game delays a new reality?
Pretty sure like practically every game released in the last 10 years has been delayed. This is hardly new
Everything is negative, except saving $100. Kinect is awesome, too bad some people probably now will never truly know what the Kinect adds to the x1 experience.

Maybe they'll benchmark an x1 with dx12 features and cloud power and show how it annihilates a ps4.
It doesn't make any difference. I played the battlefield 4 campaign on my x360, my Xbox one, and my gaming PC, in that order. It was just as fun playing on the 360 at whatever resolution that was, as it was playing 1080p ultra settings on PC. In fact it was more fun playing he 360 version since it was the first time I played it.
Too much praise from legit sources, DX12 is going to be a game changer. Sounds like the X1 was built specifically with it in mind too, should be a nice boost for my console and my new gaming PC. Hope they demo some of it at E3!
-$ony Defense Force, activate!
"hardware gap, blah, blah, secret sauce, blah, blah, blah"
Hoping they somehow salvage 1313 and the Darth Maul game... like the two best star wars games I could conceive and they got canned :(
Dead Space was my #1 game, followed closely by Bioshock. I agree it isn't a great list but I liked Dead Space being included. Bioshock definitely should be on their though.
No other games sucked me into them like those two, atmosphere was just top notch, I really felt a part of those worlds. Alan Wake was a really cool game too now that I think of it, the story was great and kept you playing to find out more.
Article is spot on. People apparently just aren't ready for the future yet. Next gen will be just as microsoft tried to make this gen, and everyone will praise it. Microsoft was just looking too far into the future and people resisted the change.
@Ruthless
Why would they change the name? What exactly changed that it is no longer an all in one device? I can't think of anything they have changed that would make you say that but go ahead and educate me. The X1...
"saying that it’s a great game, and he would recommend it to “tide over” until Watch Dogs"
Nice, a game that will entertain you for one whole week! Lol, sounds like a renter.
Boy I loved Return to Castle Wolfenstein, it was the game to own for Xbox Live. Feel sorry for the masses that picked up Live when Halo 2 dropped - they missed out on a great experience
Praying for current gen only
good news, ill be ready for new hardware in 2018 glad to see they are starting now.
