That's actually really good news, I felt bad for that other guy on the cover who was likely his service boy.
Totally, and it gives me hope they are going to redeem Ghost Recon too hopefully and not pursue the aweful "Future Soldier" storyline/gameplay, or lameplay is more like it. Recon isn't gears of war guys, and keep up the good work with Rainbow.
All i know is we are watching a closing gap
Ghosts 720p vs 1080p
and now
watchdogs 792p vs 900p and
wolfenstein 1080p vs 1080p
It's not the widening gap that -$ony fanboys predicted, its clearly closing and now freeing up GPU power from kinect and as cloud power/dedicated servers (whatever you wish to call it, interchangeable) matures along with further dx12 implementations, we are going to see that gap get even ...
Agreed, I just want at least the ps3 video functionality back, but ideally expand it to include widely used video formats avi/wmv/mpg/mp4/mkv/flv and why not throw in flac audio support too while you are at it.
Microsoft won easily and didn't even show the flagship title halo 5. I liked the game-centric conference, but honestly it would have also been nice to hear about more plans for the future of the console itself. Though the updates come out so fast by the time they talked about it, it would already be available to us. The Master Chief collection alone is going to provide more entertainment hours than every game Sony showed combined.
Microsoft did a much better job, and they didn't even show off the flagship title Halo 5. Master Chief Collection was incredible, game of show easily, and that says a lot being a remake. Uncharted didn't even come close.

I don't get the hype behind No Man's Sky.
"here i am walking around looking at trees and animals, now I go up into space in my spaceship and have a meaningless and boring space battle, now I drop into a planets atmosphere and land, now I get out and look at some fish, now im getting back in my spaceship, now im involved in another meaningless space battle... repeat..."
What's the allure? Game looks boring as ####
Achievements were great for me at first. But as time has gone on I found myself doing grueling tasks and generally gaming, not for fun, but to get an artificial award. You would find people trying (myself included) trying to accomplish meaningless achievements in multiplayer matches, ruining the game for other people by not playing the game in the intended way but doing stupid things for achievements. Achievements should have always been kept to single player only, or at least not have you di...
The only way to revive this franchise is going to be a nice long healthy break from it - or going back to make a WWII game (we haven't had a good one in a long time now!)
It was a mistake to add a 3rd studio to the production cycle. Should have cut it to 1 releasing a game every 3 years.
FF14, LoU, GTA will only be the best experience you have if you don't buy this game.
Seriously, this game blew everyone away and exceeded everyone's expectations. And Microsoft knew it was an ace in the hole. The fact that they were able to win e3 without even showing the big guns (Halo 5) was insane. I was so sure and so excited to see Halo 5 that day, but after they showed the MC collection I was blown away and didn't even need to see Halo 5 so I'm glad they...
Great deals if you are unfortunate enough to be stuck on last gen lol.
That's true, I have a Vita and none of the coming games appeal to me at all.
SOCOM is my pick. If you aren't going to show it why bother even having a conference? It's Sony's best franchise. At least Rainbow 6 got shown I guess.
I'd agree with Destiny, I wouldn't consider any of the others to be in the category of the "Biggest Games" of E3
Bungie managed to stink Halo up with ODST and Reach, and getting rid of O'Donnell. Bungie doesn't necessarily mean quality anymore, we'll have to wait and see. The latest batch of gameplay videos though have been pretty lame, and make the game look like a snoozefest.
I'm more concerned about showing games off too early. The Division looks spectacular, but, when it releases in 2015-2016, there are going to be a lot of other games that look just as good. E3 should be all about the games releasing before next E3. Not the games already out, and not games coming beyond June 2015.
It's totally fine to be upset about downgrades though. When you show a game off, things should be getting better, not worse. I mean, exactly what happened w...
I think they are spot on with Destiny showing boring gameplay. I'm really not impressed. That game doesn't look like it plays like Halo in the slightest. The games early trailers were much more intriguing then recent footage. Bungie did create the Halo universe which is awesome, but they did worse and worse with Halo as time went on. Maybe they are just losing talent, or maybe they just lost sight of what made Halo great - either way I'm glad they left Halo in the hands of a bette...
Lol, I bet they show the same trailer and keep you guys on the hook to pick up a PS5, where "Last Guardian" has "still not been cancelled"
Anyone with games that will be released this year that we don't already know about.
Also be surprising if we don't see more delays.
Is there some other piece of news saying they'll show it off tonight? I've seen no evidence. Why did this article get approved?
Reports of it being the most linear game ever and the fact they are reducing pixels count to achieve the graphic fidelity and calling it a "cinematic" game (smoke and mirrors) makes it not look too promising.
