Good luck logging in. I got in yesterday around 7am and stayed logged in all day until I crashed around 10 pm last night. I got up to do the same today (yeah I'm one of those bastards), but the worlds are already full and I have to get to work today so I'm crap out of luck it seems.
They really need to reboot servers every 6 hrs or so to allow for those who are logged in but are away to be booted from thee system. Until then players are going to stay logged in for ...
@ Dead Polio, I was tinkng the same thing, man this sounds like a potential RROD situation again. They better take their time with this or they will alienate their clientele even more.
Great point Abriael,
On gamepad integration, Other MMORPG's need to take note on how Squeenix does it. It pretty much perfect.
Yesterday server maintenance was needed because instances and duty finders were flawed in NA. When they reopened servers they purposely limited the number of players on each server to make sure the patch worked. This is par for the course for an MMO launch. Keep in mind the official launch is not until tomorrow.
@ Phantomexe I've been playing off and on all day and have had no issues.
@ buynit
man I lol'ed on that. Stay true to your system bro. I would hope folk wouldn't give you a - for that.
@Ape007
Even if you think the X1 has better launch titles (and that's very subjective), Sony's exclusives have trumped Microsoft's for over a decade...A DECADE.
Why all of a sudden would this change? Is it because MS in your opinion has the better exclusive line up to start? Hell the game of the year more than likely will be a PS3 game, while MS has stopped making exclusives for the 360.
And facts are facts Sony's nexgen sys...
Honestly, nothing else need be said.
That is pretty cool for Vita owners. Maybe there will be an ap for smartphones to turn the system on as well.
Yeah that server maintenance effed up my flow..lol
I'll be there: Behemoth (na)
@Baby-Jedi
K2 Warzone was definitely the best gameplay on last gen imo.
I spent way more hrs than I care to admit on hour+ long warzone matches.
I love the fact that movable spawn points are back in the way of spawn beacons. I really missed the spawn grenades from k2
Mystic Stunner...'Oh no U di'nt'...That's when you know your putting in work! Lol
Man I missed that Chirp!!!
People must understand that the specs of the PC used to run BF4 demos would smoke a Console (Dual AMD Radeon HD 7970s and AMD FX-8350 4ghz). I run an AMD FX 8350 and a single 660ti. So my personal machine doesn't compare. Also the majority of PC gamers aren't running in SLI yet. So even they won't match the performance of the rig used for BF4.
All that being said of course the PS4 un-optimized demo will look subpar. Way to early in the game to bitch and moa...
I'm all in for KSF and BF4 but KSF is 12v12 max. BF4 is going for 32v32. Big difference with all those players running on the screen and trying to maintain 60fps. I'm sure they will get the console ports as close to PC specs as they can. Just know it won't ever match the ever evolving PC specs.
Not jealous at all. PC Edition will do just fine for me.
The frantic gameplay reminds me of UT3. Off the wall movement and speed. Vehicle/Mech combat and going into Titan Mode.
@Zod
Lets be honest, the 360 wasn't stronger than the PS3, It was more dev friendly and the PS3 got poor ports as a result. Exclusives showed the real power of the PS3. Still, I agree Xbox users may have to get used to the weaker port this time around.
@ XHeavYx
Even down to adding a headset in the box. Not saying its a bad thing but they def are following Sony's lead.
