If Sony is then they need to stop. They should honor the original agreement or give them some sort of bonus for having to upgrade. Say the camera for free...
Sony is not the underdog anywhere in this race at this point. MS is seriously lagging behind and they know it. So much so know that all of their recent scuttle is trying to promote the fallacies that their games are better, their online service is better, their controller is better. Because I believe they know without a shadow of a doubt, their console is lacking when put up against Sony's.

I'm on PS3 ....just attempted for the 1st time this evening and at least I have 5 other wanna be's with me waiting for the initial race mission that never starts. Its my 1st actual sighting of other players so that's an improvement. Still can't start the 1st mission tho. At least I've learned that signing out of the PSN will keep my character from deleting (so far).
Pls excuse my language in advance but R* this is some bullshit. This is approaching MMO launch level of fail.
The PS4 is around the corner and I'm trying to give GTA online my attention until then.
Not surprising as I remember seeing a similar article on n4g earlier in the week.
Pre-Orders told this story a long time ago. I've found little to no articles showing customers are canceling their PS4's for X1, even after MS' 180.

you can factor in devs singing the praises of the PS4 and the perceived power advantage as well.
Man I tried all evening yesterday and the day before with no luck. I can get to the race mission and I get stuck there waiting for it to load. here's hoping tonight I'll get thru (PS3).

15 November for me as well. I'm passing the time waiting to play GTA5 online. So much fun....
A lot of people are in serious denial here. There is NO COMPARISON of the 360/ps3 bf to the pc. Hell most games on larger maps on the console version of BF3 were barren deserts for lack of enough players on the map to support an already condensed version. Its why I stopped playing the console version of BF3.
As stated by countless others, the next gen players will at lest be able to get the real BF experience , albeit with lesser graphics.

The vehicle warfare in the game differentiates the game from COD. Also there is no run and gun Rambo like killstreaks in this game like in COD.
Team work is a must for BF especially the 64 player PC version (and surely by comparison the X1/PS4 versions)

I'm curious as to if you've ever played BF.
As a PC/PS3 player I got the PS3 beta yesterday and I'll extend that blurry mess comment to the PS3 as well. I'm going to try the PC version tonight (just got my email to log into origin for the Beta).
As far as the console fan in me, I am very interested in seeing what the final specs will be on the PS4/X1 versions. If it is closer to the PC specs or the current gen specs.
My plan was to get KSF as my 1st digital download as long as it was available day one. 50gb has me slightly rethinking this.
It would take my 25/25 connection up to 4-6 hrs if as we know that we won't be able to utilize the full speed. We will only be able to dl as fast as the PSN allows. That being said at least the new system allows background downloading while you play.

By all accounts the PS4/DS4 triggers have been 'fixed'. So if the triggers are the root of the Xbox players bane with the DS3 then those who are coming over to the PS4 should have no worries. I personally can play both although I am better at shooters with the PS3 controller (For the record, it took me maybe a week to get comfortable with the 360 controller scheme).
Even PS3 players will a slight learning curve with the DS4 having...
I have never been one for racing games but the crew seems promising. I'd give that one a go.
Most of the best games this gen were from the PS3. I would expect nothing less from next gen.

Best Buy, Toys-R-Us, Gamestop, Target, Wal-Mart just to name a few. By all means if you can't handle the download then get the physical copy.
If the devs are true to building the best client it can for each platform then yes its should be better on PS4.
Hopefully other devs will follw EA's lead and not gimp the PS4 on account of not wanting to ruffle MS's feathers.
And the 1st pillar falls....X1 is in trouble.
I'll get DS2 on PC and move on to Next Gen.
