What stolen exclusive? Funny how people don't really talk about NG2 going to the PS3, which is really a much bigger "stolen exclusive" then anything else this year.
Spin it however you want, Sony has the best exclusive games these days. There is just no denying it anymore. Their exclusives are in a whole other league, at times I feel like a generation ahead of the competition.
Have you guys seen IGN's E3 demo of GOW3? It has like 20 minutes, and its absolutely mind-blowing.

One tells a long and complicated story, one does not. The comment is in no way a slight to the Metal Gear franchise, the developer is merely pointing out the differences. Believe me, the last thing they really want is to be compared to one of the most storied franchises in video game history. They want to separate themselves from that.

L4D2 should have not come until the next engine from Valve, ie HL3. I guess they wanted to crank another out on consoles first. Pretty sleazy of you Valve. A game like L4D just screams episodic/dlc whatever-you-want-to-call-it content and they instead churn a sequel out.
Why not MG? Two of the four MG games were multiplat.

How does a game slip without a release date in the first place? Some people want to say it will be out this fall, the rest of the people, those with common sense, predict the game to release in early '10. Which of course is still Sony's fiscal '09 which stays in tune with the facts that came out of Sony's financial report stating it would arrive in "09".
