Even with the nice graphics its still going to boil down to how the gameplay is and does in the game, not to mention will the game finally have a dam halftime and post game show. If EA continues this trend with no halftime or post game show in next gen where you can do just about anything with the power of these consoles, EA just needs to give up the license and let 2K back into the football game making business because we all know 2K delivers and if you don't think so the next gen versi...
I hope we see College Football 2K15, NFL 2K15 or APF 2K15....
Fingers crossed.
SF4 fanbase is bigger than you think, also Capcom would make a lot money if they did the port but I think they're just being lazy.
And Capcom says they don't have the resources to port Ultra Streetfighter 4 to the PS4.....yea right, they aren't fooling anyone.
This game looks very scary, I jumped in my seat at 5:52 of the vid. That blade trap was crazy when he was limping just to get the elevator, then the chainsaw guy comes after him.
It's official, true survival horror is back......can't wait to play this game in the dark.
I haven't played a baseball game since the ps1 (forgot what that game was called), but i'm looking to get back into it in this next gen with MLB14 The Show.
Yea, my fingers are crossed too....but it's looking good so far (nothing being heard from EA about renewing the license, no news is good news).
Of course we all want to see NFL2K15, but if that doesn't happen because of the EA license renewal you better believe APF2K15 will suffice and still have great sale numbers especially if the games look like NBA2K14.
I hope next year one of those titles is APF2K15 (if not NFL2K15).
Yea I agree, EA knows what they're up against and they know that 2K has better developers and better games to back up their talent and it shows in NBA2K14. Now that we're in next gen the cost for game development gets very expensive, with this high cost coupled with EA not getting sale numbers from madden they used to before they got the license and the loss of the NCAA license will make EA make a decision....give up the license and put that money toward game development or keep the l...
And people said Take Two was broke and there was no way they could buy their way back into to the nfl license (not exclusive just being able to make an nfl game again), i think they're just patiently waiting to see if EA doesn't renew the license or if nothing has happened by march/april next year and that's when they'll pull the trigger and make their move.....not to mention they already have their new game engine eco-motion (i think that's what its called) in place for n...
Cool vids jackfrags, thanks for posting.....can't wait for Nov 12th to get my copy of BF4 for PS4.
@digitalraptor
I never heard anything about that, thanks for the heads up.
As long as him and the rest of the 2K sports team keep doing what they're doing make great sports games and games in general they'll be around for a long time.
Cool to know that 2K sports has a new game engine to work with for their games in this next gen, if NBA 2K14 is a preview of what's to come concerning their sports games it just makes you that much more excited and knowing that your gonna get a true representation of that sport with all the bells and whistles. I was hoping the guy ask about a possibility of APF 2K15, but i'm guessing we'll know by march next year concerning the upcoming football season (college and pro) as far as ...
Cool vid, loved the "ticking" sound effect.....its like the countdown of the bomb represents us gamers worldwide and the explosion itself is launch day.
Yea is coming, and there is no fail safe or any other way to stop the detonation.
Oh my bad, misunderstood your comment. But yea your right, 2K sports won their fanbase the right way by putting out a superb product for the gamers. I'm hoping and praying we see another football game next year other than madden, imagine how NFL 2K15 or even APF 2K15 would look with NBA 2K14 graphics.....would be totally amazing for sure.
Money hungry ?
You do know its becoming more and more expensive for EA to retain the NFL license don't you? Madden sales have gone down since they acquired the license and the game doesn't reach the sale numbers they used to like they did before they got the license, not to mention the money lost in the NCAA lawsuit and the loss of that license as well. If EA wanted to renew the license for next season it would have already been done (plus by renewing early its less...
2K sports made APF 2K8 if you forgot......EA hasn't done anything to madden since they got the license 8 years ago and just sat on their ass making lackluster games because there was no competition to push them from getting lazy which they did, now 8 years later and its next gen and any game can look good graphically but if it plays like crap what's the use of buying it, not to mention leaving out important features that add to the overall gameplay experience. But with 2K sports you g...
Funny as hell.....bubbles for you.
