I just got an extra ps4 controller myself a couple days ago from gamestop, good to have a spare on hand in case you can't make it back to the store right away......gonna get the PS camera/eye a bit later after launch.

I pre-ordered the BF4 collectors edition strategy guide early to get the gold battle pack on Oct 10th, you'd think it would be shipped and delivered a day or two before the 29th the day the game came out but it never happened, just got the shipping email a few days ago and the book will be delivered nov 5th.......go figure.
The contract is up this year, if EA doesn't renew the license it's open season for any game company to make a football game next year. I'd love to see Sony bring back NFL Gameday, i use to love when you made a big hit with a defensive player you'd get the sound effect of loud thunder and a big a$$ lightning strike with the screen flickering on and off....that was so cool.
Sony is about to bring the pain (games wise).
When I first saw the sleek design of the PS4, i said to myself that's how a next gen console is supposed to look.
It would be a shame if next gen madden 25 didn't have a halftime and post game show, this is next gen and with the power of the new consoles there aren't anymore excuses that can be used....we'll know on the 15th.
Yea its funny and stupid at the same time, just when everybody was calling for sony's head and ready to burn them at the stake about the mp3 debacle the very next day sony issued a statement and said mp3 play will be added in the next PS4 firmware update.
It's gonna take hope, prayer, holy water and the delorean time machine to go wayyyyyyyy back in time to undo all the damage that tiberoun(sp?) has done to the madden series let alone their entire sports games division in general.
One guy isn't gonna change anything, but a good start for him would be giving up the nfl license and other companies make football games.
Even if I don't use the camera right away it'll definitely have its uses when more and more games are made for it. I would love to see sports games and racing games to have the face scan for create a player/driver feature thru the use of the PS camera instead of having to use photos you have to upload using usb drive etc...
But I do want to check out the playroom game using the PS camera.
I have everything pre-ordered and paid off, i'll get the PS camera later after launch....I have the turtle beach px22 gaming headset.
The PS4 launch can't get here fast enough....
EA needs to get rid of their sports games division and fire all the developers who work there, its evident they don't know how to make a sports game properly and correctly.
Launch line-ups don't really matter to me, as long as there's games I like to play i'm good to go.
BF4, NFS Rivals and Madden25 will keep me content until Thief and Driveclub comes out in February and March.
No its not hard at all, remove the glossy black cover with a torque screwdriver, when you take off the cover the hdd is right there...use the torque screwdriver again to remove the hdd, slide your new one back and put the torque back in the hdd and then put the glossy black cover back on and put the torque screw back in the cover and your done.

No problem and your welcome.....as far as the drive speed, you might want to stick with the 5400rpm just to be on the safe side just in case the 7200rpm one overheats from spinning to fast.

I'm good go, everything is paid off and the only thing left is to go pick up the goodies on the 12th and 15th and before I turn my PS4 on for the first time is to swap out the 500GB hd to the 1.5TB hd I got that's ready to be installed.
2 weeks to go and next gen officially begins.....
I wouldn't be surprised if we see custom themes soon, i'm sure they're right around the corner.

Yea, NFL Gameday was the sh*t back in the day, here's to hoping it or any other football game come back not named madden or made by EA sports. About the NFL contract, also now that we're in next gen the games will be even that much more expensive to make on the these more powerful consoles and the price to keep the NFL contract exclusive goes up every year and sooner or later EA is gonna have to let it go and improve their own game instead of being scared of...
