I think Outlast is the new standard for survival horror because that game did everything right to scare the hell out of you (music, atmosphere, true scare moments, no ammo, limited visibility depending on what area you were in at the hospital etc....the music alone makes you want to play with the lights on because it sounds so creepy...lol).
I believe that Evil Within will surpass Outlast in every way, seeing that Shinji Mikimi is at the helm with no creative restrictions (wh...
That's gonna be extra cool to see the storyline from other characters point of view, will make the replayability factor go thru the roof.
I believe we'll see the Nissans and Lambos added in the DLC which is fine by me, DriveClub is a true next gen racer built from the ground up and I can't wait to play it.
I agree with you, best believe Capcom is shaking in their boots knowing they're gonna have to face their former employee's game and get shown how to make a true survival horror game in this next gen.
Cool to see there will be extra content each month to keep the gameplay varied and refreshed, definitely will add to the replayability factor.
Outlast had plenty of hide and seek in the gameplay when trying to get away from the crazies in that gigantic mental hospital that was trying to kill you and all you were armed with was a camcorder, the hide and seek in alien isolation is going to save your life because unlike in Outlast the enemies can't sense you by smell, sound, movement and your patterns like the lone Alien that's hunting you can.
Until Capcom truly goes back to their survival horror roots and formula that made Resident Evil 1 and 2 a smash hit success or evolve and do something on the level of Outlast (music, atmosphere, limited weapons if any at all, true scare moments etc...), they will continue to skate uphill trying to get Resident Evil back to its former glory.
But even if Capcom does get some of that glory back it might not or won't be enough or will be to late because the survival horror ge...
Same here, had mine pre-ordered since aug 3rd and so ready to try out the PS4 T-80 racing wheel with the game.
@MrMagoo
Another good thing about everyone being on equal footing, each race win or loss will come down to the skill of the driver which is how its supposed to be and not because a certain is better than the other etc...
This will make the overall gaming and driving experience that much better for everyone.
That footage looks amazing, the rain and snow looks even better than i could've imagined and definitely will bring strategic game plans into play when the weather changes from dry to rain or to snow.
Can't wait to play this game, 3 weeks and counting....
Awesome sauce !!!
But the G27 racing wheel (or any other Logitech racing wheels for that matter) isn't compatible with DriveClub, The Crew and F1 2015 and other upcoming PS4 racing games.
Thustmaster is now the official maker for all racing steering wheels for this next gen for PS4.
The Thrustmaster T-80 racing wheel for the PS4 is $99 and is compatible with the PS3 too.
@XHeavYX
there's no clutch because there's shifter paddles behind the wheel.
This is not good news at all and is a deal breaker for me, i thought the game would at least have a single player mode (not everyone wants to play online all the time) and now no dynamic weather either (even need for speed rivals has snow and rain)......who cares about no loading times when the other 2 features aren't included, i could see the no loading times being a bonus if the single player and dynamic weather was added.
I had high hopes for this game, gonna cancel my...
I was hoping this would have been implemented in madden 15 this year, maybe next year i guess.
60 sec is fast hell for an install, at least we know we won't have to wait that long to start driving right away.
My list (no specific order)...
Evil Within
DriveClub
The Crew
Alien Isolation
Metal Gear Solid 5 Phantom Pain
Formula 1 Racing 2015
Batman Arkham Knight
Rise Of The Tombraider
The Division
Rainbow Six Siege
H-Hour World's Elite
MLB 15' The Show
Wow, 5 secs is the shortest load time ? That is cool which means continuous gameplay keeping the fun going between tracks, gotta have all your snacks, eats and drinks all situated with you before you play....lol
I don't care about the disagrees, the fact still remains that you still can't judge the final version of a game from playing a demo.
Cool interview with the man himself Shinji Makimi, his ideas and thought process going into the game is very interesting.
