Between Activision, Ubisoft, and EA....it looks like I'll be enjoying my backlog of micro-transacion free games this holiday season.
Hey, play Dungeons and Dragons....no loot boxes or micro-transactions there.
It's time to boycott all these new games. Hell, I have a monstrous back log from PS3, 360, PS4, Xbone, and PC. I'll have no problem sitting out a few years. :)
Wait till you guys see all the Pay To Win micro-transactions that are in this game!! Yes, everything from buying weapons (NOT just skins), to attachments, to skill unlocks, to "time savers", etc....and this is just naming a few. Check out the videos online for Breakpoint's Store!
I was so jacked for this game, but now it's a pass just like this year's COD.
I'm predicting that these greedy companies will soon be the death of video games...
I really wanted it to be good and feel different; they did say it was a fresh new engine......it wasn't. You still move super fast, die even quicker, and everyone camps more than ever due to IW rewarding them for "Killstreaks."
The only good thing about playing the beta was, I'll be saving $60 by not purchasing. Happy gaming.

Ah, I remember fondly how the games of old weren't tainted with crazy micro-transactions. Still own the older versions and many physical copies to enjoy when the industry goes belly up due to the micro-transactions driving people away.
The Hunt Showdown has amazing graphics, sound, and a very creepy atmosphere. The proximity chat is fun; whenever you're near an enemy, you can hear them chatting (and vice versa, so becareful).....hence everyone whispers.
The problem with the game is, most experienced players just hide and wait until you attack the "bounty" creature. Once you've taken damage and depleted most of your ammo killing that bounty, the other players jump out; killing you f...
What good is improving your aim with a game where players turbo build the Lean Tower of Pisa upon your first shot. :/

Release a version with no turbo crazy building when you shoot at someone; then I'd come back to Fortnite.
Call it: "Fortnite Tactical".........just combat tactics; no building.
