I still own all three, and yes...the MP is unplayable. Everything from invisible players, GOD modes, super rapid fire, vehicles and tanks spawning everywhere, people running super fast....ugh.
So I guess I'm on board with everyone else.....Why?
Well, to be fair, they were drunk when they were playing. Second, they just kept running directly into enemy fire during each time they were engaged. So when he kept saying it was frustrating, it's because he kept dying. Even Other Joe was telling him to "look out", "take cover" or "Grenade", But Angry Joe didn't listen.
Other than the few graphical PC hiccups, the game looks good.
It may or may not, but one this is for damn sure.......I've already started digging a trench in my backyard in preparation.....TO THE TRENCHES!!!!

Awesome, you're not the only one sir! Though they say they're not going to release COD:remaster separately at launch, I'll just wait when they eventually do. I'm done with super slides, noob finders, and power jumps.
Not sure why they would release this knowing Overwatch was is being released just weeks after.
Finally, I love the honesty. With all the "political correctness" that has choked the hell out of us lately, it's nice to see people speaking their minds instead of posting the politically correct things to say. Competition is a good thing.
That spawn timer feature sounds awesome. That'll keep people from just sitting back and camping. Good stuff!
Great article. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one whom feels let down. When the "Shipping Update" for the Oculus was released on April 12th, I ran to my email inbox like I was a kid on Christmas morning opening his presents.....but alas, instead of receiving an actual shipping date, I f*cking received coal.

Hey Phantom.....there's no strategy whatsoever. It's just running around and killing; it's slow and clunky (nothing like you've seen in the video promos). I suck at FPS and was constantly in 1 or 2 place just by running behind my teammates and mopping up their kills (as everyone else was doing the same thing). It's a beta so I'm not going to knock the graphics and understand (and hope it's nowhere near how the finished game will look), but it's slow and clun...
Just finished playing the MP Beta for about 2 hours straight.....Let's hope the single player kicks ass because the multiplayer is very bad. I hope they have an open Beta so you guys/girls can formulate your own opinions. Not hating, I love the original Doom games, so I'm hoping the single player will carry this game.
@Pandamobile: This is straight from the Vive's manual:
"Before installing the base stations,
you should have decided whether your play area will be room-scale or seated/standing-only."
Not sure how you've chosen to selectively misconstrue what I posted, but if it helps you sleep better at night, spend over $800 and exercise "your option" and not use HTC Vive's base stations. LOL.
The HTC Vive requires you to dedicate one room for its use; and those wires look horrible taking up the length of two walls. Also, you can only move several feet when playing certain games, then you're stopped by the red virtual wall. And even if you have a large area, you're still tethered to you computer with the Vive's headset; so once you're turning and twisting, it's just a matter time before you're disorientated and trip over the Vive's wire.
Way overpriced and breaks within 2 years (not just mine, but multiple others whom purchased per my original suggestions).
There are better options out there for half the price.
