Let's face it....the average gamer absolutely out-numbers the hardcore gamer (hence why COD sells well each year). To them, every COD is fresh and new.
Capcom, what happened?!? Capcom is like seeing your first girlfriend after 15 years....things were great at the beginning, but damn, time and bad choices had their toll.
I thought TLOU had some of the best graphics and sound I've seen in any last gen title AND deserved every award for such.
My only problem with TLOU was the gameplay. While playing, you get to one area, hide or shoot at the creatures/bad guys (which don't change their patterns throughout the game), get an object or open a door, go to the next area; then repeat. The only thing that was done to give you a break from the monotonous gameplay were the cut scenes or push...
In all fairness, the people at Respawn are very talented. The only problem with this game is justifying the hefty price-tag when other games like COD and BF have so many other options and game modes to play.
The recent details about this game just saved me $60. IF the price were much cheaper, I'd purchase the game...but $60 is waaay too much for a multiplayer only 6v6 game (especially if you're having internet or Xbox Live problems...you're stuck with a game you can't play).
For those who don't mind spending $60 and more for DLC on a 6v6 multiplayer only game; it's their money and right to do so.
As for me, it'll be a pass unless th...
Agreed
Considering we'll have to pay more for DLC, $30 for a 6v6 multiplayer only game sounds fair.
The last major multiplayer only game with crazy buzz was Brink....we all saw what happened there.
I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY ADDED SOMETHING TO THE BELOVED TOLKEIN'S LORE!! Barry, where's Barry?
When did I post that "I" died fast? And when is it trolling to post ones' experience with a game?
.....sheesh, 100,000 sperm and you were the fastest?
I too played this game briefly at PAX (they only gave us 15 minutes). It seemed very fast paced and death came all the time. I had a hard time enjoying the game because of all the commotion that was going on. I think too many people were quick to rule this game the best next gen game coming out.
Though I really love the team at Respawn, I think too many people (especially gaming sites) jumped the gun by praising this game as the best next gen shooter by only playing it f...
Rule 101...never sing Christmas carols during a Zombie outbreak. Sheesh, who raised that kid?
Can't wait for this game!
@_FantasmA_: " I want play as an Al Qaeda dude blowing up US soldiers please."
Well then pack your bags, fly to Afganistan and join their ranks cowering in the mountains. You'll definitely get your chance at being in the cross hairs of a US soldier.
If you guys are looking for an Xbox One in the U.S., I've been to three Sams Club stores and they are over stocked with Xbox Ones. If you're interested for the holidays, they'll have them in stock and ready for you to buy.
Sadly, PS4's are no shows. I'd hold off buying PS4's from people online via Ebay (they'll try and rape you for every cent you have). I'm sure if you're persistent enough, you'll find a store with a new shipment. <...
It has nothing to do about "no skill." It's about working smart over working hard. People who use a K/M work smart....people who choose to use analog controllers (or thumbsticks) work hard.
Both do the job, but one is greatly more efficient.
Nice way for EA to push the blame on DICE. EA was rushing DICE to release the game in time to mess with COD:Ghosts and Activision. They did the same thing when BF3 was released.
Smoke? Fire?......"Xbox, marshmallows!"
I'm all about true ownership of the game. If you have a physical copy, you can sell or trade it in....Digital copies you cannot.
I'm all about finding great deals on used games via Ebay, hopefully you can too.
@HammadTheBeast
IGN and the other larger review sites give high scores to these games because of all the exclusives and perks they get from companies like Activision and EA.
Once the smaller gaming sites start taking precedent, Activision and EA will start sending them invites, early releases, and collector editions.
It's just like politics...in a small "Q-Bert" kinda way.
I have the greatest strategy....don't buy the game.
:D
Techland really know how to make game trailers.....Hollywood, take notice.
