Do you mean the pseye, or eyetoy from ps2, not a clone. Microsoft enhanced the concept of the eyetoy, and now the ps4 is as well. Everybody is taking away something good and making it better.
In this case for microsoft, maybe not so much.
A single 680 cost alittle less than 500$, how much do you think a console would cost with that. Of course pc gaming is going to be better because you can invest a huge amount of money, 500$ card, 300$ cpu, 100$ ram,100$ power supply, 150$ motherboard, that adds up, and no way a console would survive at that price.
But consoles can be optimized and get close to those 1000 dollar rigs, but with a 400-500$ console.

The only reason the ps3 was even able to be hacked, was because their keys to the system were released by some disgruntled employee I'm guessing. Either way, had the keys not been released, then today the ps3 would still be locked down.

Most rumors suggest it is always online, only one says it isn't always online. 10 to 1 rumors saying it is always online, yet you believe the 1 rumor. The thing is, we don't know yet, but based on most rumors with documents says it is always online. I hope not, but it seems strongly it will.
