Man what really happened with Halo behind the scenes? 5 years and a supposedly 500 Million budget and a new slip engine. When they showed the trailer it was really, really rough, not what you would expect at this point, with pop in, and a lifeless world. Glad they saw it was not ready to go but why has this game been handled so bad? 343? Microsoft making demands that the game still be cross gen? WTF?

This is just stupid all around. There isn't a justifiable reason to not have it when Google allows it and has competition with Microsoft.

I was surprised to see this rumor and wasn't going to believe till I saw it. Straight no from them, not surprising.
However I assume with halo infinite going free to play that ftp will not require Xbox live like PlayStation. Which would be nice.

People tried to warn people about it, that holding onto Jaguar cpu and 30/ 50 mbps hdd would effect game design and graphics for next gen. It was all there and made sense it would and after the Halo demo, here we are. Proof is in the pudding. Especially with a 500 Million budget AAA game.
Well no shit, who really thought PS5 wouldn't be able to do 4k, other than fragile fanboys? The Xbox GPU is only 17% stronger, these machines are closer than ever with performance since the 360/ps3 era.
Is there going to be a delay for this game? Raytracing being added after launch? Pop in all over the game, dropped fps, but that could be from the stream. Either way this was to wow us and it's not even running on the Xbox but PC. Just unimpressed at this time.
Underwhelmed with the graphics, does look like Halo though and should be fun, but cross gen definitely held this game back visually. Why is there pop in still, wtf???

Feels like this is just wishful thinking or look on the good side of being charged more money for games. Either way, if people buy less games, or wait for sales, companies will lose money if they price them out of the market. The market will decide in the end, but with free to play being the most popular recently with Battley royale, not sure DLC and MTX are going away with the price increase.
I heard Sony bought this for PS5, sounds like it will help a lot. Can't wait to see games using it.
