I'm just surprised there isn't any backlash with Microsoft buying an entire corporation like bethesda. We had a couple weeks ago a ton of articles with how anticonsumer having spiderman in avengers as an exclusive but an entire corporation and not much a peep about it.
Maybe right now they will be priced similar but what your getting is something over 7 gbps compared to 2.4 gbps. Can take the drive out and be used on PC compared to proprietary ssd. Also in a couple years due to multiple 3rd part manufactures will be able to price ssd cheaper due to competition.
Well when Microsoft tried to do it with XBone, it failed and they had to reverse course for this whole gen and suffered from it. Why is it you think people want services and mtx though???
Pretty pricey as expected. Hopefully since Sony has 3rd party manufacturing and not just using only seagate, prices will become cheaper in a couple years.

Well, more people will get the enjoy Spiderman and Horizon 2, that's good. However, it's disappointing these games won't be built next gen optimized, as pretty as they may be.
Yeah definitely mixed messaging. Very surprised by horizon being cross gen, and a little disappointed. Pretty much a suped up ps4 game we will get later this year. Will still be a looker but held back by last gen hdd and cpu. Still going to enjoy the hell out of it but what could of been next gen showcase of design like flying mounts, instant loading/ transporting, and ai.
Still for ps5 first year there are some major games to play on it.

Great looking game, like the 2016 one. Love the particular effects and debris everywhere, plus the RTX. This is just a launch window game too, what are we going to see 3 years from now, when developers have a handle on their engines.
