If I were to get into this series which game out of the HUGE franchise would I even start with? I remember having interest back when the Gundam games were out but never pulled the trigger on it.
I go to a used game store in town. Bought my Game Cube and PS2 there. You have anything like that?
Always nice when gamer's give back. Very admirable.
If you really want to get into the franchise you have to go wayyyy back in my opinion. I started with 7. Watched my brother play 3 and 6 (same game lol) and then he got me into Final Fantasy Tactics. My all time favorite. I like to replay it every so many years. After that I played 8 and 9. Not as good as the previous two but great games.
Played X-2 on my old PS2 about six months back. Maybe I'll abandon that and pick up the remastered edition. All depends, my wheelhouse is massive at the moment. Darn you steam!!! :p
Honestly got bored with the second one. Expected to be this all powerful guy and kept getting taken down for ridiculous reasons. I may give this game a chance as it looks like an improvement. Sand box games are always iffy for me. I wasted a lot time on Prototype :/
How is it different than Half Life Episode 1 and 2?
Idk, they had a city under the water and another in the clouds. Maybe space is next? :p
The last one I installed wipe out my BI save game. I hope this one doesn't. :(
I liked the first Burial at Sea. A bit short. The one thing I disliked about Infinite was that it wasn't in Rapture. But Columbia does grow on you and I could see how being in the same place all the time could get boring after a while. We'll see if I enjoy the second one when I get it. :)
Gaming is suppose to be outer worldly or perhaps it used to be. I think the more games mirror our own lives the better it can become. Art in essence mirrors life and sometimes it's hardships. Look at Metro 2033 made by people in the eastern bloc...Russia's backyard. That story has no happy ending. It reflects the mindset of the Eastern people. Hopeless. I like that ultra-realism personally.
It literally feels like you're watching the show but having interactive choices in guiding it. Very clever of them. I think it appeals more to the show's base fans than true gamer types though.
Big fan of the movies and the books. I'm not sure if I'm sold on the LEGO-ification of everything...games, movies, you name it. Is it really necessary?
My favorite unknown was Wayne Newton "Mr. New Vegas" in Fallout New Vegas. Classic!
Parasite Eve 3 and Dino Crysis 3. Why haven't either of these games received sequels?
Obviously Mario has been wildly successful over the years. You see a new Mario game every other quarter.
Here's to Isaac Clark becoming the best mascot! :P
Whenever a reboot comes out the first question people ask is "why?". A lot of people asked that about the new Spiderman movie. I saw it, absolutely loved it. Sometimes Reboots are good and sometimes their terrible. Depends.
They had one thing to get right. Make the game playable for 12 o'clock. Shame.
I had to go back and replay the original game just to get myself psyched for this. It's a relatively young franchise, but it's probably my favorite survival horror franchise at the moment. This is coming from someone who grew up on Resident Evil and Silent Hill.
I def agree with Telltale. Once I start playing an episode I honestly can't stop. At first I thought it was because of the zombies or the action. But it's really the story. I genuinely want to know what's going on with Clementine lol. I did the same thing with Lee before he *cough cough*. I liked the Gears series too, so Bioware get's my vote too. :)
