If it is $399 for the 40GIG i am cool with that. I will never, ever, give up my launch day 60 GIG PS3. I will keep that baby forever, they will have to bury it with me.

And for people who say you do not need more than 1 PS3.......think about this, if you have muliple HD tvs and a lot of people do, you will need at least something that can show H...

A $399 PS3 is very doable!
The 20 GB PS3 was $499 when it was released and really the only thing different from it and the 60 gb ps3 was wifi, and memory card reader and 40 gigs of space.
40 gig Harddrives are so cheap now..you can not really even buy one. All Sony has go to do is get a buttload of 40 gb harddrives for the new $399 PS3 and segate can do this for them...The 40 GB PS3 will sale like wildfire if it has wifi, memory card reader and spiderman 3 bluray...
At least we finally got one...
They are going to add a lot more content to the game...also you know it is going to have home integration too. There are going to be new maps and vehicles and weapons...
I have only crashed one time, and that was on a non-ranked server over a week ago. I have played like hours on end on ranked servers and I have never crashed. I think when you crash it is because of the network dropping you from the server and instead of logging off completely it crashes your PS3.
Now i have been dropped from games, but it allways brought be back to the lobby.
I have yet to play in the last 2 days...I will play tonight since i already updated my...

I am still getting heavenly sword...because most of the reviews are around 9.0.
The demo was tight... I can be happy playing total time of 8 to 9 hours...bioshock was only like 6 to 7 hours...and people are not talking crap about that game...gears of war was only like 6 hours and people say that is the holly grail game for the xbox 360...
So it has a scaler...it maybe software...using some or one of the Cell cores but it is a good scaler...the best DVD upscaler, something that the Xbox 360 can not do that well..
Is dolby digital 5.1, which is good, but can not compared to the audio qualities of the PS3. Xbots can not spin that, that is fact.
but at last Halo 3 will probably have the best sound of any xbox game.
Heavenly Sword and Lair have the best sound of any game.

This game better be good...because right now it looks kinda weak...We all know GOD of War 3 will be out by end of next year or early 2009...
The PS3 is the best...I will only play my xbox 360 for Halo 3...after that i have not use to play the xbox 360...PS3 all the way...

There is no way HD-DVD is going to sale 4 to 5 million players by end of year. There are 5 million PS3 bluray players out there right now. The money to be made is in bluray...it has a much higher installed base and this is reflected in the sales of the discs.
There will be $250 bluray standalone players.
There will be a $399 PS3 maybe this year.
There will be 12-15 million PS3s by end of next year.

Also Warhawk has over 110,000 people in it and over 800 servers with over 125 Sony Dedicated ranked servers. They have fixed most of the early problems and warhawk is now solid.

But there is no LAG in this game. You need a broadband connection. Everybody should be on 6 meg or higher pipe by now if they are a serious online gammer. If you can get a cable modem connection that is 10 megs up and 1.0 megs down...then you are in the house!
Also update your wireless router. You can not use some old crap thinking it is going to get you the best speed. Good 802.11B/G wireless routers are only like $40.
They will sale a few more xbox 360s but not 3 million more...If the ps3 drops to $399 sony will sale 4 to 5 million PS3 by feb 08. They need to drop worldwide to $399 for the 40 gb PS3 with spiderman 3 bluray packed in.
