And the Controller is not all that great. The Wii is all hyped...There are no good games comming out like on the Xbox 360 and PS3...they have like only 3 games people are gonna want this christmas...

Remember the 60 GB PS3 at $499 includes HDMI 1.3 and Bluray intergraded..not added on like it would be in the Xbox 360..Also the PS3 has solid hardware build quality and sony is already using 65 NM chips....at least they will by August...

If the rumble sixaxis is included with the new PS3s in August and they sale is for no more than $49 for us existing owners than I am all for these new updates.
Get your PS3 now, you will still have the first gen PS3 with built in PS2 chips...
But remember sony will still update the firmware every month to make PS2 software compatibility better each month...
So the PS3 version is going to be better. This is not a Xbox 360 port like a lot of the other multi console game.

You have to spend another $100 for just a 20GB harddrive or $179 for a 120 GB harddrive. We all know a 20 Gb harddrive is crap...there is less than 10 GB space on it. You gots to speed at least $100 for the microsoft wifi adapter or go and get a thirdparty for around $50.
All this is more than the price of a totally intergrated...
The price of the blurays and HD-DVD disc are about the same. On the internet you can get bluray movies for around $20. Bluray has better over all specs...but HD-DVD has the better interface as of now but bluray will be at profile 2.0 this october...
Bluray has the most movie studio support....its only a matter of time before HD-DVD is dead... Why are HD-DVD supporters still trying to fight the fight?

Sony will play it this way for now...release a rumble sixaxis with touchsense and MGS4 will come out before christmas along with Killzone 2 and the PS3 will rule the world.....plus all the suns in this part of the galaxy will also align to....LOL

I am ok with what sony did...At least the 60 gb model is at $499. That is a good deal...the 80 GB model is at $599 with motorstorm...I do not know about this...You are getting an extra 20 GBs for $40...not a good deal when you can get a 100 GB drive for around $75 or less...
People go with the 60 GB model...and lets hope that sony brings back the 20 GB model but put in wifi and memory card reader for $399!
Now if the $599 model had a 200Gb drive.....hmmm
There are many casual games in playtation home and little big planet is the best casual game comming out early next year..
Sony is in a good position.
On the PSN network the PS3 will get Pain and they already have SuperStardust HD...

But you never know I think microsoft will cut $50 off the xbox 360....this seems logical...Sony is going to or has cut at least $100..to $499..many people have bought some Ps3s at $499 over the weekend. I was hoping sony would cut to $399...but heck $499 is good, since u get bluray and wifi and easy replacable 2.5 inch standart SATA harddrive.
Sony could go crazy and extend the warrany to 5 years on the PS3...
Come of microsoft give us a price cut and a redesigne...

and many other PS3 games designed on the PS3 would not work on the Xbox 360 or wii..because there is not disc space...Also downloadable games can only take you so far also...there is no way you are going to download a 25 gig game in a reasonble time...Most of the downloadable games on the PSN network are less than a gig...including the warhawk beta...Sony knows how to compress...but you want your soun...
