From what others have said and what I've experienced it seems that the cancer of BF4 has spread to the share button, I've lost some great videos because of it. Before I knew about the 'double tap' which kind of wakes up the video capture before you need it, I had more luck setting it to 3 minutes instead of 1. I have captured a lot of great moments so at least it's partially working.

I'm on the fence with this game until I get sniped off or I read more good things about it, a day 1 patch might help. It seems to have a relatively short SP part too so I'll probably get it when the price goes down a bit. I do like the killcam and laughing at the people complaining about it though.

Yeah and I doubt that a company would spend a lot of extra time optimizing the game on only one platform out of the goodness of their heart instead of spending similar time on all platforms, especially the one selling the most units.
It's better to have it there for those that want it instead of giving everyone less because of a few. They can always close their eyes and say "lalalala" but I can't do that and make content appear. Anyway I've seen gore/swear/etc filters so it's not a problem.
All it needs is to have good MP variety with good servers, balance, and reasonably fast fixes for bugs.
They're giving an advantage to whoever has the money to buy one (p2w), it normally takes time to move your greasy thumbs to the buttons but not this way. It's too bad the DS4 didn't include buttons on the back for those that wanted them, I like it but it could always be better.
I don't watch much TV but I've talked to people in BF4 and many of them didn't even know that Sony has VR coming 'soon' :O. I hope they're throwing money at the right forms of advertisement.
EA enjoyed robbing its players with BF4 etc so much that now they've made a robbery game to celebrate. I won't give them money but I'll happily put some aromatic dog turds into their stocking this xmas.
Even a cheap wheel can make a game more fun (as long as it doesn't fall apart too soon obviously). When I played Midnight Club 2 on PC I doubt my wheel turned more than 180 degrees and I didn't want a clutch. I like having the shifters on the back of the wheel and having buttons that are easy to reach. If this game inspires me to be a more serious racer I'll spend more on a better one.

Yes I do say that they're ponderously slow to evolve. I heard tell that they may even include a controllable woman in the future, good heavens.

I play BF4 a lot and I've captured a lot of great video clips, some of the time, there's a possible bug when set for 1 minute capture. For me if it's set to 1 minute it seems to sometimes capture and save as a few second clip that doesn't have what I intended to capture :(, I've lost a few great ones to that. It also can take its time letting me push square to save the video to my HDD, then I get killed etc in the game.
If you have problems try 3 minutes, ...

I wouldn't blame "poor optimization", they shouldn't've tried to force 1080p. They can't be expected to spend a lot more time on one version of the game than the other but I can't believe that they'd release a game in that shape.
