Gears 3 is going above and beyond all my expectations.
Well said.
A couple of online streams plugged summer of arcade before the conference, but yes I agree Microsoft should have showed XBLA some love during its event. That being summer of arcade looks extremely solid this year.
Spot on CVG.
Three E3's in a row now where Microsoft has had a chance to make it up to the core gamers for their costly Kinect venture, and yet again they have failed us. Its hard for me to accept that the casual market is the money market.
Its also hard to think that if Microsoft just put half the money into core games development that they put into Kinect, that they would have great New IP's that could sell millions.
Now th...
That may happen but at least they're balancing core and casual at the same time.
Exactly, well said marshow. So after Gears/Forza this holiday, there is not going to be any core exclusives until holiday 2012? WTF?
So they're basically saying "if you don't want our half baked technology, we have nothing for you".
Kinect just is not for me and its becoming a problem. Ryse formerly known as Kingdoms was the one exclusive that could have saved it all for me and the moment it was revealed as a Kinect game I cringed.
Exactly didn't Kojima confirm it in the Konami pre E3 video?
Its already happening I don't know how it turned into a possibility.
Very logical, I see your point. I only hope that its not very forced throughout the game.
I hope it's a co-op thing. I really dont want to be switching back and forth between characters. Maybe im in the minority with that one.
Extreeemee hack and swash titoe.
You can move your body freely.
What are you talking about? Tak is golden haha, just think how viral last years Konami conference was. Its one of the main reasons I looked forward to this years.
Exactly, I think that they will only implement Kinect with the Normandy. I trust Bioware so there must have been a compelling reason to add Kinect and we don't have to wait long to see if they fail or not. Completely agree with the achievements, that would be terrible.
Executive producer for the Mass Effect series Casey Hudson, tweeted this
"Can't comment on the Kinect rumors. On an unrelated note, I just flew to the Citadel and boy are my arms tired."
Pretty easy to decipher but I wonder what other functionality Kinect will have in ME3.
Cant wait for monday.
So after about 20 or so comments on this article and not all of them are 'whiny' your conclusion is that all 360 fans are 'butt hurt' over recent reveals. I for one welcome all this 360 news and feel its much needed. Just sounds to me like your trying to hide your jealousy, that could be just me though.
Calm down man. Kinect will not take away resources from the CPU (see my comment just above yours). Also any Kinect features will be completely optional. So just ignore it if it bothers you that much.
While I do think this article is rather weak and uninspired, Bioware aren't into 'gimmicks' so i'm not worried at all.
Executive producer of the Mass Effect series Casey Hudson all but confirmed that one of the ways you will use Kinect, is to ...
Well sin151 I believe she was referring to the fact that since the Kinect does not have an internal processor like originally planned, that it will have to run off the Xbox 360's processor. Thus taking away from what can be achieved without Kinect taking some power, which was my initial thought also. Until I googled it and found out that surprisingly when a game has Kinect integration, Kinect only uses about 1% of the CPU's power. Seriously, they just need to put their best into BF3 and we'll take it from there.
right* sorry that was bothering me, carry on.
A seperate ME multiplayer game might work, but please don't tack it onto ME3.
