I've put about 500 hours into it, and I'm taking a very long, maybe permanent break. There's a lot to do, with plenty of great storylines, but it suffers from the same problem that all games of this kind suffer from and that's the human element. There are way too many elitist nutjobs who will kick you from multiplayer matches for a variety of selfish and stupid reasons. I ended up playing it by myself 95% of the time. And since the endgame content requires you to be part of a ...
It's a fun game for sure. It's nice to see fans of the game showing the love. I probably went through the game three times.
Same here. I'm more interested in PSVR2 if we're talking about spending hundreds of bucks. I don't game on the go anymore. And if I want to watch tv and game at the same time I just remote play the ps5 to a laptop. But that's me reasoning as well.
The game is eight years old, so I give them a pass on the graphics. Although the current gen upgrades are a welcome addition. Nope you cannot choose the race of your companion, but you can choose their outfit, mount and class more or less. I got sucked into the game last year, so I am still relatively new, but I can say that it's one of the most satisfying games I've played in years. The rabbit hole goes so deep.
Same. This is the only MMO I have played since PSO on the Gamecube.
While Goldeneye reloaded didn't have the same magic as the original n64 version, I enjoyed it. I liked how the entire game could be played with motion controls if you had the Wii or the PS3 version.
I'm even worse than you. I pickpocket the homeless citizens of Tamriel. I find that most of them have some pretty decent loot hidden away in their loin cloths.
This was a very interesting article. It makes me excited for these small development teams and what's possible for gaming over the next few years.
I'm about 35 hours in (PS5) and I really love it. Some of the side stories in the game are super interesting and emotional. Of course, I was never one to jump on the trendy hate bandwagons, so it was easy for me to evaluate it objectively.
I had no idea this was coming to consoles. I've heard great things about this game. I'm thrilled this is coming to my console!!!
I agree as well. As someone who has nothing invested in GTA V, I can see and feel the difference. The dual sense haptic feedback is really well done and to me the biggest surprise of the whole package. Unless you've been playing the PC version this entire time, this is a nice little upgrade.
I have a PS5 and a Series S. The Series S goes in my bedroom where I still rock a very nice 1080P TV. The PS5 goes in the living room with my 4K TV. It's a perfect setup for me. I'll very likely bite the bullet and get a Series X at some point, but for now I am happy with my setup.
I've heard this game is extremely difficult. What's your take on the difficulty?
Polybius is an absolutely insane concept and playing in VR is unlike anything out there. Well worth taking a look.
I'm currently playing through Doom 3 and Borderlands 2 in VR using the PS Aim Controller. It's so much fun. I never thought I would go back to old games like this, but the added immersions and the Aim support give these titles new life.
Your comment brought up some good memories. I fee the exact same way. I remember seeing this game advertised in a Nintendo Power magazine and thinking, "Look at the graphics!" Back then I rented video games from blockbuster video. I rented Actraiser and completed it over the course of a weekend and loved every second of it. It's always held a special place in my heart for the exact reasons you mentioned. "This was one of the early games during the SNES release in 1990 that ...
I liked Goldeneye Reloaded on the PS3 using the PS Sharpshooter peripheral too. Fun stuff.
This is a solid review of the game. I got a good sense of what to expect and appreciate the honesty of the reviewer. I think I'm going to give the game a shot. It sounds interesting.
Yeah, these two were preorder bonuses.
I feel the same way. My friend let me borrow Farcry 6 and I enjoyed it for a time. After 15-20 hours everything became predictable and repetitve, so I stopped playing. I've literally never finished any openworld Ubisoft game.
