36GB because first it will download the file at 18GB or whatever, then it will install it using those files. It needs double the space on HDD for installation file and the game file. Once the game is installed, the installation file is deleted and the game ends up taking 18GB space on your HDD.

Never had lag with "POS network with slow speeds". As for downtime, login once a few days before maintenance and you will be playing online.
I bought the launch version which was essentially Fifa 12, and I liked it. Authentic football experience on a handheld.
