Is their answer to be more competitive towards PS3 (black REALLY), simply put, with their recent spending on marketing and now this they are afraid for their ass and dont want to loose the market share.
In my opinion the price point for this is a rip off, HDD is very cheap to buy by itself, no next gen DVD player, no wifi, same specs as before....they are making money on this. At least they can include all the features of the PS3 which is to me a better deal than this.

Hmm however I do not like the fact that the new "Elite" is black....why not keep the white for brand differentiation? They are really trying to destroy the ps3.
I guess the only thing that bugs me is that if its true, it will have a bigger hd then the ps3 but no blue ray or HD DVD built in, and only 100-something cheaper than the ps3.

Have you palyed MS? the gameplay is fantastic for the most part, the funnest racer I ve ever played.
And stop whining about the pricetag, 200 more than your precious xbox is not that much seeing how each game costs about 70 bucks or so. Get off of your fanboy wagon and either buy both or go play your Xbox and don't come here with your negative attitude.
Because the game is incomplete, the DL content should be all for free.
If I pay 60 bucks for a game I do not intend on spending anymore to get the basic features, seeing how these companies make profits in the millions as it is whithout it.
I do not plan on buying any extra content and I hope many more people do the same. That way these companies will learn to stop ripping off their customers in every possible way.

This game is awesome, I love it, only two things that annoy me are the lack of split screen and slow multi start times.
I would say that the PS3 demographic is a bit older as parent's will not spend that much money on a "toy".

The game doesn't look very impressive.
I d only buy it if the price was considerably lower (sine the distribution costs are lower) and the demo was good enough.
Taken out of context, anyway I think what he is trying to say is that it takes getting used to being able to use the controller properly. But if you figure it out, it can be pretty fun.
