I enjoyed SR 2 more than GTA 4 as well. GTA 4 is only better with mods and that's even stretching it. IceEnhancer can only do so much, but hey, it was the reason I played through most of GTA 4, so it has to count for something. :P
If I was going to get one over the other, I'd go with GTAV and I'm not even a fan of GTA. However... I just saw this 10-20 minute video showing nearly everything it had to offer.
Mark these words, boys, GTAV is going to be one of the most complete games for your money this generation has had to offer.

What I find funny is all the goons supporting this franchise. Was it not a slap to your faces when That Versus XIII logo SHATTERED! Then reformed as FFXV? Even SE knew that XIII was sub-par as a main Final Fantasy and wish to distance XV from it as far as possible
What better way to do that than show, visually that Versus XIII was more ambitious than the entirety of the XIII trilogy.
It looks like a spiritual successor to Borderlands, Bungie style. Loved the first 3 Halo's. So I'm hoping some of that past experience shows up, in refined form with Destiny.
Microsoft hasn't learned anything from last gen. Spending money on timed crap. I don't even like it when Sony does it.
I'm not that old, but old enough to remember when this stuff was crammed into games. Games were worth more back then to me, than they are now.

I was just playing GoW2 on PCSX2 and While it did have a good use of QTE's, manual use of the DS2 was integral to the overall gameplay and navigating from point A to point B.
You cannot compare these 2 games gameplay-wise because..
1) We have yet to have hands on Ryse and complete the game
2)GoW2, after beating it (first time, btw)
is not even close to being as QTE heavy as Ryse, with everything shown so far.
Your argument is strawman. The fact that you even mentioned those games having single player, already removes the rug from underneath it.
If "no one wants" single player? Why charge 60 bucks? What makes this game worth *more* than other games?
