I truly believe Resi 8 eill be the best of both RE2 & RE4 with the ability to link up with a friend to ensure the nightmare together.

I’m not mad at that! RE4 was a genre definining title and due to it being ahead of it’s time, may not warrant a remake just yet. But Resident Evil IV - 2 is definitely a possibility in my opinion

That’s what you’re missing. It did not fail due to co-op. Some could argue it continues to sell to this day from the co-op aspect. It failed due to horrible progression and cheap action focused unmemorable setpieces. In my opinion there’s no reason why you can’t have an excellent horror game to travel through with a friend. The execution just needs to be on point
Would really enjoy RE8 to be of the same quality as RE2 is shaping up to be, combined with the excellent progression of RE4, with the nostalgic co-op of RE5. Personally enjoy playing through these scares with a friend.
I don’t see anything wrong with making a high quality horror game that allows for you and a friend to journey together. It just needs to be done right. RE 5 was not flawed from the co-op aspect, it has other issues. It’s actually the reason to this day that I still play it with friends and family. 9 years after release.
Then you find the right way to mend the two. It involves a creative process that Game Freak simply does not posess.
Personally feel as though Game Freak doesn’t have an ambitious team willing to expand on the formula and turn it into something like Breath of tte Wild did for Zelda. So they continue to keep the games dumbed down with little to no strategy and sidequests whatsoever. Pokemon has been a disappointment in my opinion as I’ve grown older with the series. They should add story elements and cutscenes similar to the original tv series with a larger budget. Would be well worth the investment.

I was fine with red/blue and gold/silver
Colosseum combined with Breath of the wild. Would sell more units than they could even begin to forecast.

Don’t think anyone understood that I never said anything in regards to battle mechanics.
Pokemon will not satisfy (rightfully so) anyone who has supported the franchise since the beginning, until they completely redefine the gameplay experience(s), invest in more deep story and rpg mechanics (versus childish gimmicks like petting pokemon), and give a more expansive and living world. Essentially turn what made the show so great and put it into a properly budgeting video game.

Please, Jak & Daxter. I know Sony & Naughty Dog are aware of how well the originals sell on the ps store. With Naughty Dog’s top tier storytelling and with some imagination with the reboot/continuation, this could be anoyher heavy hitter IP for Sony & Naughty Dog after the Last of Us.
If they followed up with their studios accordingly and put the right care into the quality maybe they’d have better games
They are such a talented developer, among the best, I really hope they begin to dabble with RPG. Give CD Project and Techland a run for their money
