Agree 100%. I would have paid $10 for the game, even $15. I did buy it back when it was Space Tripper for Linux/Windows... Can't recall the price.
I will buy Astro Tripper PSP, Astro Tripper DLC, Astro Tripper 2, and probably anything that PomPom puts on the PSN. I wish Mutant Storm would come to PS3, because it's one of the better twin-stick games (IMHO). Lucky 360 owners!
You guys need to brush up on your reading and comprehension skills. Sony's press release announcing the PS2 price drop mentioned 1900 PS2 games... That's where that number came from. Not from this guy's collection.
I didn't try to mislead anybody. I didn't even put quotation marks around it. Go to school and learn proper grammar, and you'll know that to actually quote someone, you need to do that.
And yes, I edited the story because people like you apparently need to told when something isn't a quote, even when it's not trying to be.
I should have asked him on the phone if I could just put his full name, but I didn't think of it, as he was venting pretty heavily, and I was typing out as he gave me details.
Anyhow, I updated the story to include the location as you suggest. I'll see him at work tomorrow, and I'll ask if he can provide any details, like reference numbers, serials, whatever... If he'll provide it. And of course, I'll ask about putting his last name up there too.
I don't have the actual quote from Sony, because I wasn't the one on the phone with them. But had you read the full story, you'd see that they told him he's SOL, and that he can't get a backwards-compatible PS3, but would instead have to take the new 80GB crippled model.
Well, then they obviously have some in stock there, but they don't in Ontario, just a few hours north of you. You'd think they would just get one from New York, but they don't.
Just because you don't believe it doesn't make it not true.
As I said, my site is entirely PlayStation-focused, and I don't bash Sony or the PS3 unnecessarily. I work with the guy who called me about it, and he's pissed, and he'd probably knock you on your ass if you told him to his face that this is all a lie.
The repair depot he is dealing with is in Ontario, Canada, for the record.
I'm not trying to give the PS3 a bad name. IF you had taken three seconds to look at my site, it's ENTIRE purpose is PlayStation 3 news. Open your damn eyes and stop putting Sony up on a pedestal as if they're some kind of god, because they're not.
The guy's name is Steve, and he's a co-worker of mine. You can cry about how this is not real if you want to, but it doesn't change the fact that it is. I just hope it happens to you, so that you can have fifty morons report your story...
This game looks so good, to me. For such a small team, I am impressed. I love the setting, and the ideas behind it all. Man, I can't wait to play this!
The release date is for inFAMOUS so it has at least something to do with inFAMOUS.
Actually, Brawl sucks equally to this. But at least Brawl has online and the option to play without waggle.
No wonder you think it's fun - you're drunk! ;)
Hi mandf! Do you work for Tarsier, or what? Nobody in their right mind who wasted $10 on this piece of crap would be recommending it to ANYONE.
It's either that, or you have somehow managed to convince yourself that you actually like the game, and didn't waste your money... It's people like you who keep the Wii software lineup chock full of suckage, and it's why my Wii has been boxed up for months.
You can argue all you want, but I love SIXAXIS controls myself (in fa...

As I commented there, I don't agree with the notification that someone is playing a game or not - that's just going to flood the screen with messages.
But the rest I agree with, and have a few things to add:
- a message when someone logs out or chooses to leave a chat room
- auto-login option for at least one chat room in the list
- invite notification for chat rooms not logged into, but still in the list
Oddly:
"hello" becomes: "****o"
but
"hell?" becomes: "hell?"
LOL
This video is ooooold.. March 17th! Either that, or his PS3's time is just way behind. Like, weeks behind. lol
Oh Mike, what are we gonna do with you?
What gave it away, the mouse pointer? :)
Agree with one of the replies above. I run Linux on my netbook, my desktops, and my media server at home, and also my workstation at work. I don't see a need to run it on my gaming system. The fact that my PCs all run Linux are the main reason I even got a gaming console to begin with, what with the lack of variety and quantity of games for Linux.
