I've heard there are ways to work around that and yeah they do have a patent for it, however there was another story going around how Sony had cross chat ready, but Ea threatened to pull support from the Ps3 because Cross game chat didn't work well with some of their games.
I just find it pathetic how Sony won't even tell us the status of whether it's coming or not so the debate about it will end.
I have to agree that the no cross game chat still is very disappointing. Especially where it's been in demand for a very long time lol. We probably won't even get it until next generation.

I just listed exactly the other stuff to do when you finish beating the game. I guess you didn't bother to read what I just posted. It's whatever I liked the game and I don't regret buying it either. Like I said before more reply value then most of the games out this generation. I put more then 100 hours into FF13 and if you don't call that replay value then I don't know what to tell you.
Yes it had replay value. Takes over 70 hours to achieve the platinum on the PS3 if you choose to. Plus upgrading all the weapons and doing all the Cieth missions ? Yeah it had replay value and at least it gave us other stuff to do unlike most Single Player games.

I liked Final Fantasy 13. Had more replay value then majority of the games released this generation. I really don't know why people were complaining as much as they did, some classed it as the worst RPG this generation.
Well I thought it was solid. I had some issues with it, but overall I wouldn't call it a disappointment. It was the first Final fantasy game made this generation so I'm sure the next will be much better.

Nothing is beating Call of duty. However Call of duty has a lot of casual gamers playing it. BF is for tactical gamers who like playing with teamwork and strategy. Call of duty is a more Run and Gun fast pace shooter.
Honestly Call of duty and Battlefield appeal to different markets. They may both be first person shooters, but they appeal to different gamers.
