Mainstream ? You wouldn't ever hear about there new upcoming titles besides browsing gaming sites. I doubt it's "mainstream". Sony just sucks at marketing in general, great games ? Absolutely, great advertising for those games ? Hell no.
Sony needs to let their products be known to the world, most of the younger audience won't be on gaming websites.
Seems they dumbed the game down for casuals apparently and made it more accessible and missing key features from D2, so NO. I don't believe this is the same as ME3.
They really don't need a new engine, I think the fanbase complain more about the lack of dedicated servers. Actually, that is probably the number 1 thing we demand more than anything is DEDICATED SERVERS.
The whole Engine thing got brought up only because of BF3 with their whole frost bite engine, so now we see everybody and their mother complain about a new engine.
How did Sony Copy SSB when SSB isn't even the first to do a massive fighting game with iconic characters ?

COD Dying ? Laughable. It sells more than most games do, if not all of them. So if COD was to die, I guess every franchise in the business would be dying.
