Ipad is a device that's built to do many things, with gaming being a minority of the device, shouldn't be compared to the Vita or 3DS, because the main idea/aspect of those 2 devices is TO PLAY GAMES....
The Ipad isn't meant to play games or give the same experience as a 3DS or Vita.
It sounds like you want more social aspects of a device. The PSP is an entertainment source, but the main aspects of it is to play games.
So you grew out of gaming from the sound of it. That's the main aspect of the device, everything else is just a dessert. That's why I love Vita, it has good games and I love it, the extra features are just icing on the cake.
Sadly my sister bought her 4 year old daughter an IPAD.... and she uses it just for cheap ass games... I'm just like (facepalm).
I'm sorry this is just terrible, I don't mind if people enjoy what they enjoy, just don't put those apple store games as in the same league of games like, Uncharted, Gears, starcraft... and many more I can list.
It's very hard for developers to please everyone. Naughty Dog made some changes to U3 multiplayer and some people whine about why did they change it, if Naughty Dog stick with U2, people would'v complained on "oh, it's just the same as Uncharted 2".
It's like you can't win, and it's sad to see how gamers can be backwards sometimes. They're working hard and supporting the multiplayer better than most developers would... they should be com...
It looks... interesting. Still, I'd wanna hear more about the balance changes, it looks cool. However it's COD, I know what to expect, I just wanna know more about the weapon balancing and the killstreaks.
So why watch the trailer then ? Like Kelloggs said, you didn't see all the guns. Actually some of the guns in the game have recoil, remember the stoner in Black ops ?

That makes no sense, for the fact is that many always say that COD is multiplatform, so it will sell better. WHY NOT include the PS3 numbers ?
None of Halo's has outsold Halo 3, so far.
MW2, MW3 and Black ops all outsold Halo. MW3 actually outsold both MW2 and black ops on the Xbox 360 (PS3 not included). The return of chief is powerful, but he isn't that powerful to outsell COD.

I believe the game will go f2p eventually because the p2p model isn't doing very well for most games. Plus the f2p model is making some companies A LOT of money. A lot of people still play FF11, and square eventually needs to find a way of getting those players to convert to FF reborn.

Okay so you say "FF fanboys" need to take a step back, what about the "FF elitist" crowd ? The ones who think they know EVERYTHING and no matter what square does, they sit, moan and complain about everything.
We don't really know the reasons as to why they left, least I never heard of them, only assumptions by the elitist crowd.
They're committed to FF14, whether you like it or not, also, from what I've seen on youtube, the community for that game is really excited for the new updates square is planning. It will go f2p eventually, but square is trying really hard to get the game on track.
1. I care about some of those "horrible characters". 2. I care about Lightning story. 3. I LOVE the battle system. It's fluid, even though it has some flaws, which they still haven't addressed.
Believe it or not, there's a lot of people that enjoyed FF13/ FF13-2. I'm one of them.
I don't believe when developers try to use development cost as an excuse on the $65 dollar price, especially when almost 98% of games whether it be the quality of Uncharted 3/ Gears 3, compared to A LOT of Disney games... which are retailed at the SAME EXACT price of $65.
I realize that the development cost excuse can be a pile of bullshit sometimes. Especially when COD EASILY pays off the dev cost within the first day it sells, but still for a long time remains the same...
I never said they shouldn't... but it's the same nonsense on every article with this topic. PS3 vs 360, then the PC crowd gets involved with, oh my platform is more powerful, why are you guys always arguing about old technology.
