Can't wait, Dying Light was fantastic.
Ori is anything but lame, nor does it have the same quality as a free PS+ indie game, even if it's not your cup of tea you should at the very least appreciate that it's a fantastic platformer.
My second favourite Arkham game!
1. Asylum
2. Origins
3. Knight
4. City
Damn, I was hoping for Epi VII Stormtrooper skins and weapons.
That looks pretty awful compared to the original.
@melrex, was Xbox One only, the beta starts early 2016 (hoping for January) and it made me go from not caring about it at all to pre-ordering it, I haven't pre-ordered a game this early for a long time either.
Yep, considering I, and a lot of other people, played the closed alpha this month, not long to go now :)
Can't disagree with that! They absolutely nailed everything, except for the story I guess but the gameplay is so damn rock solid that it doesn't detract from the game at all.
Dying Light was one of my favourite games of the year so I can't wait for this!
I was thinking the same until I played the alpha, it's completely won me over.
Shooting is really well handled and satisfying, it's really solid feeling too as it should be.
Everything down to the movement is very refined and snappy.
So far my biggest issue is the AI, it's pretty broken at times but I'm sure that's just in the alpha build.
I've been on it all day and it's just great to play, even better in co-op.
You know the awfully forced voice chat gameplay Ubisoft always do?...
Yeah and someone on the forums said they were stuck at 7 and a half! Very confusing, could be a bug though.
Completely lost interest in this but after a few hours of playing the Alpha I've got to say I'm really enjoying it, once you get to grips with how everything works it becomes really fun.
Though I seem to be stuck at level 6 and a half, not sure what that's about :\
If you go into launch options for JC3 on Steam and type in "/borderless / windowed" and turn off full screen in-game and V-sync you can get triple buffered V-sync so it doesn't cap itself to 30fps as soon as it drops a frame, also I turned off Global Illumination to get rid of the texture flickering, explosions still flicker when you're stood close but it's a hell of a lot smoother.
I'd personally give it an 8/10, it's awesome but it feels shallow and not as immersive as Fallout 3 or New Vegas, the new conversation system is quite rubbish and your main character having a voice takes away even more immersion for me which is strange as I've always preferred talkative protagonists over silent ones.
Not to mention the side quests feel really generic this time around, I haven't come across any really meaningful ones comparable to Harold's ...
A review for a MP only game when it's not been released to the public yet? Hmmm...
Mad Max is actually one of my favourite games of the year lol along with The Order, Dying Light, Witcher and Fallout.
Still waiting for it to release in the UK, but I've got Fallout 4 to play anyways, good times!
The problem with this early comparisons is that the quality of the screenshots are pretty low quality so you really don't get a great idea of the actual difference in quality.
I'd personally wait for Digital Foundry's comparison.
Just been searching round for an English version and I can't find one :(
