Got mine pre-ordered for PC so have to wait until Tuesday but I'm really looking forward to it, I absolutely love the setting.
Think it looks the same, if not better to be honest.
I thought he looked similar too but you meet that actual character later on as he's in charge of the Tech wing in the Base of Operations and he looks nothing like Pearce.
I tried 5 or 6 times and it wouldn't even put me in a match :\
I couldn't get it to run well at all, 1080p, 1440p, 4k, SLi or single GPU with my 970s, doesn't matter what I did it ran pretty terrible.
Pre-ordered Firewatch, already got the Dying Light season pass so got The Following sorted and I just need to pre-order Unravel, if Far Cry Primal was out this month on PC it would be an amazing month!
Well from what I could see between the slideshow lol it looked pretty incredible, even 1440p doesn't run well with Tomb Raider, it needs some serious performance patches I think.
I just tried it with my 970's and it goes between 10-40fps, usually about 20fps though :(
Really looking forward to this!
Yeeeeah I'll wait until it's all spruced up, I'm in no rush to play it!
I just want Red Dead and Skate 3!
Gears Judgement is the only Gears game I didn't finish so I was looking forward to playing it through but it really doesn't perform well at all apparently so just waiting for a performance patch for it.
It's not unusual for an RPG to do this, and you can turn them off anyway so it's a non-issue.
I actually really enjoyed The Order but I definitely get what you what you mean, graphics only go so far and are mainly to attract consumers on a first impressions basis.
The gameplay is what won me over with The Division when I played the alpha, it was brilliantly addictive fun.
I didn't think TLOU needed multiplayer before it came out, it looked really tacked on but I ended up loving it.
Awesome stuff! No backwards compatible games mentioned though? :(
You must be new to RPGs.
Way more graphics options than I expected, looking like a good PC port so far.
I was confused about it until I played the alpha too and then it clicks and all makes sense.
Easiest way to think of it is two separate areas, SP/Co-op section (PvE) where you do main story missions, side missions and explore and then the Dark Zone (PvP) where you collect loot and fight against other players if you so choose.
Absolutely loved the alpha, shame the beta is so short though, only a couple of days long and 3 days for XBO :\
I suppose you won't have to play through a lot of the same content again if you buy the full game though so that's one positive from the short beta period.
AC Black Flag and AC Rogue can also be played at 4k 60fps even on my 970s, there's quite a few games out there where you can do it.
