i do miss crash but the in first uncharted, nate always reminded me of the mascot. linear jungle levels, his facial ticks and mannerisms. uncharted really came into its own with the sequel but the first always displayed some old ties to naughty dogs crash (or maybe its just me)
i like to be neutral since i have it all but i would make a tie between sony and microsoft with nintendo way behind them (although donkey kong was a decent surprise)
i never understood this whole we want big numbers right away mentality of this gen. sony has always been a slow but steady seller of their products. (even their eyetoy did considerably well in the european markets last gen). they are even looking to overtake the 360 this year in worldwide sales with that approach. i think their only big time day one seller is gran turismo series.
Digital foundry really is the best when it comes to these comparisons. I went with the 360 version and it looks fantastic, but the framerate drops do kill it for me a bit. Im all about going guns blazing and blowing up everything and going all out. Sorry if I have a supersuit im going to utilize it and not hide in the shadows.
videogame journalism really needs to clean up its act, its no better than visiting a message board half the time.
all i know is them laywers be making a killing in cases like this
this make me want a gamestation, thats the primo stuff as the article states.
damn that is awesome, i can tell my launch system is just a few more titles away from ylod and i was worrying about some of the copyright protected saves. i suspect the next gen of systems are going to delve into cloud gaming much more...just the ability to play arcade and this gen's titles, new games will still be retail.
i honestly dont think i have turned on my 360 since fallout vegas the end of last year. my ps3 has been on consistently since the start of this year. gears 3 will change that though, but sometimes i really wonder what the hardcore 360 fanboys see in it, to claim is superiority over nintendo and sony
Bond Drake FTW. love the animations, still one of my favorites when it come to that.
he's not completely wrong about move but there is also nothing sexy about the kinect
yea i feel same way, just finished it tonight and really liked what was going on between the helghast and the hesistant commander that the isa forces had (all with awesome voice actors...clockwork orange dude, beowulf, and ajax from warriors).
not saying its shakespeare but for a videogame its was on par with all the other shooters out there
fitness pack, nice..it was my one complaint about the game, that it needed more training mini games
i have this mainly because i was just curious and the deal was good enough for me (99 bucks, a free 50 dollar game and one month of beta access to unlimited games). used it for a few weeks and haven't touched it since. the amazing thing to me is that it actually works, i was skeptical. I actually think next gen, microsoft and sony will implement facets of cloud gaming into their online strategy.
i will buy everything so i really dont count, but this is worthless to a cons...
the bulletstorm demo did nothing to impress me, couldnt stand the humor as well. duke nukem I am looking forward to, he should of added brink to the list.
i have 500 dollars of amazon credit, this is seriously tempting...im looking for 3d glasses, doesnt look like its included
its been a long time since a videogame hardware/accesory product has gotten me legitimately excited, but this little thing has and i never owned a psp. looks phenomenal to me, price it at 300 and i am sold
forgot all the bells an whistles of either, ngp simply because of the two analog sticks (and not nubs). charge 300 or less for it (doubtful) and you get a day one purchase from me
that was so lame, cant believe i actually read through this stuff..promise myself to stay away from these things this year, but was actually thinking I was going to find something of substance and new information, instead its fanboy drivel with no citations or sources.
i own all consoles and have only been playing ps3 this past week. don't hold any preference but have mortal kombat for it. game contains tons of single player content and been playing a lot of versus with roommates. its not out the realm of possibly to be just playing ps3 during the blackout. although going back to old titles is a lil fishy as the blogger states
