wasnt crazy about the first half of U3 but the second half is my favorite segments of the series so far
for mass effect prefer 1 to 2, so I think 3 should be a good surprise for me just gotta get home to play it
Thank you, this is the first review I tried to write and the process is a little trickier than I thought but I do plan on doing more. That is my main issue with the game, if it gets easier to matchmake the the title can be in the 8-9 range.

There was a recent article on this today that gave Zelda 4/10 and it had the same comments.
there is also achievements and trophies, which to me seem like an extension of the idea of high score
I finish almost all of my games, close to 95% but I find that in the past few years because of time restraints I very rarely participate in the multiplayer aspect of games. There are some exception to it but it's a very small number
I think it's like the ign of Japan. Where a hardcore gamer won't take much credit to its review score but for the average not so serious gamer a good review could swing their interest.

i tried it out the other day at the vita social club in ny and it it awesome. very surprising because iam not a handheld person. i think i will buy what i tried (uncharted, sound shapes, wipeout, little big planet) was all very good.
in terms of sales, not so hot but this drop off was in line with every hardware that week in japan. 3ds for example had a similar 60% drop in sales. a little worried, but this is line with every ps release so far in japan.

of course i am aware of legal ramifications and they dont have to do anything illegal. they can just release an insiders first hand look into parts of the industry that dont get a lot of press.
power of word is how they express that, it can be positive or negative. if they find something dirty, well then good for them; either way it is at least trying to be something other than a blog poster.
Until there is game journalist who goes out there into the field, posing undercover as a tester at a company; finding a way into gamestop corporate offices, exposing marketing teams, review scores; etc etc...they will always be a joke.
it was a nice article but unless someone steps up and does something other than relay press releases and create sensationalistic doom and gloom articles, for the most part you will be seen as a joke. getting paid for it is not a bad deal thoug...
I think gaming on my iphone and tablet is atrocious. i also dont even like handhelds but looking at the release list of games and the only things that interest me besides mass effect 3 for the first half of this year are on the vita.
so I will buy it with uncharted, gravity rush, katamari, escape plan, lumines

The referenced all the right things. 28 days later, city of thieves, the road, no country for old men. So excited. And yes the title is flame worthy but what this core team did with pulp action in uncharted 2 I can see happening for survival action in last of us.
what the hell, over 600,000 ps2's were sold and 100,000 dreamcast sold? good starting numbers for the vita, sure full week be around half a mill. not bad
my first phat ps3 lasted a good 4 years, on a slim now. RIP
that looks fun, doesnt look challenging but fun none the less. i will give it a whirl one of these days
