I personally haven't bought a used game in years. I use to be a guy who bought them all the time then I got tired of getting screwed by gamestop and atleast 1/5 games I bought were always scratched or damages to the point where I couldn't play it. That's when I stopped getting used games.
But I do think it is dumb for any company to restrict or banned used game sales. We're in a false economy and not everyone can shell out 60 bucks with taxes for every game an...
I'm not a fan of xbl but I agree with your comment. PSN did pretty much follow XBL when it came to online. I remember when I first got my ps3 and how I refused to play on PSN in it's current state due to how terrible it was. But as it start to take after XBL it got better.
Toooooooooooooooooooooooooooo true sir
high five!
How about the over reliance on dumb multimedia apps that no one even wants? If I'm gonna do Facebook, Twitter, youtube, web browsing, music, and all that other shot I'd rather just pull out my laptop, kindle, Pc, or even my cellphone to do these things. I really don't see the point of having them on a console. For those who disagree I guarantee that those ppl would rather do these things on other devices than do them on their 360 or other console of choice. There's also the BS...
Why do ppl always use vgchartz as a source for sales when they're always so inaccurate? Even Aaron Greenberg the head of Xbox division at Microsoft calls bullshit on their numbers. Recently Sony just announced they sold over 30 million in Europe, vgchartz only around 27.5 million. Sony announced that they sold 70 million worldwide as of November 4th, vgchartz just recently put it above that. I remember when MS announced that they sold 50 million units, vgchartz had about 47 million 360s. ...
is there any word of these 12 gig ps3s coming to north America
120 euro really? BTw how well do those 12 gigs sell in europe?
the ps3 got hacked by anonymous the same group that hacked the FBI, CIA, and the pentagon for fun. You really think XBL would stand a chance against them just because you pay monthly for it? Besides people have been hacking the 360 and xbl for years ever since it came out. It took 4 years before someone could figure out how to hack the ps3, and the man who did it is infamous for being a hacker prodigy.
I agree with this article.
facebook, twitter, youtube, netflix, hulu, last.fm, internet browser, and the many other features on xbox who really buys a console to do that crap? Even if I wanted to do any of these things I would rather do it on my pc, laptop, tablet, or my cellphone. In fact the 360 is the last place I would do any of this shit because of how poorly integrated and formatted it is. For example: I was using the IE today just for kicks and atleast half the time it...
I loved the original forza to death as well. I use to have a copy then my friend did something with it (bastard)
You know paying for XBL isn't that much when you think about it. Personally I've never payed fully for the 50-60 dollars a year. I just get those 1year XBL cards for just 30 bucks online so paying for it isn't an issue. But my problem with it is that we shouldn't be paying for it in the first place because what I see on XBL I don't see the "you get what you pay for" appeal.
facebook, twitter, MSNBC news, ESPN, last.fm, iheartradio, youtube, games...
No matter what this is a great accomplishment for sony. Yes some are shipped but they all include shipped numbers as well. MS and nintendo include shipped units as well as sony and everyone else. It released a year after the 360 and for europe it was 16 months after the 360 and even still it has managed to pull of these number which are almost on par with the 360.
Ofcourse when good news is reported for anything ps3 related it gets bashed on.
and people wonde...
"VGC is actually spot on."
Tell that to Aaron Greenburg (head of the xbox division) who has stated many times that VGC is wrong and inaccurate and I think that guy knows a little more about how his companies console is selling more than some website made up by some random guy who was banned from a previous website for posting fake statistics.
He's not the only one either. VGC just gives estimates that are somewhat accurate at best.
Skyward sword was a good game.
but in terms of zelda games it's probably the weakest installment yet. None of the dungeons or boss fights were even memorable. The only difficulty I had was the first temple skyview and the only boss fight that posed any kind of challenge was fighting ghirahim for the first time. The only times I ever died in the game was fighting and enemy and getting killed due to the wii mote not responding to my movements properly (for the most part thi...
I'm a guy who did not like halo 3, odst, wars, and read.I didn't think it lived up to the hype.
But that doesn't take away from the fact that halo 4 is still probably one of the best games I've played this year. Campaign felt a bit lack luster but the actions and pace of it is really good. the prometheans are an awesome enemy. Coop is still loads of fun, and the MP overall is very polished
9/10
still think it was a bit overra...
I knew it! They would find a way to nickel and dime us.
It does have a "more of the same feeling" but overall it's a fun game, the gameplay is smooth, the action is packed, and it's very well polished in everyway.
I'm not a halo fan but from what I played at my friends house it was really fun! Much better than halo reach, odst, and 3 combined. I didn't play the full thing but what I played it was really fun. I might pick it up at around christmas time :).
btw this is coming from a guy who thought all previous halo games were lame (well reach was ok)
Yeah I always though halo was a little to bright and colorful. Even when it want's to be gritty it's still too colorful.
Next gen is nothing but an excuse. Sony is preparing for the next gen as well and yet they can still provide lots of games this year. It's not like this is the only year the 360 has lacked either. It's been like this since 2009.
As far as i'm concerned 2007 and 2008 were the only years that the 360 came out with the games. Sure they're opening new studios and it's all for making dumb kinect titles.
