They truly have the worst portfolio of games from any major publisher. Used to be one of the best, but they have lost their way like EA. Blinded by the Microtransactions and monetization.
They paid out the ass in licensing fees. GOT, Walking Dead, DC Comics, Marvel, etc.
That’s likely what killed them.

Bad Company 1 and 2 had the best campaigns. The squad dialogue was hilarious.

See that to me is what ruins the charm of the original. HM's were permanent and tied up a move slot, they were a serious decision to make. Also we had to walk back to a pokemon center to use a PC, which was a strategy in itself. You had to manage potions and inventory, and spend wisely. The games have gotten too damn easy, too casual and it pisses me off. Ive been playing since I got Pokemon Blue and a Gameboy color for Christmas in 1998. I have played them all since and the GBC era games...
Can’t wait to play this one.
